Ahoy, ye scurvy dogs! 'Tis a day of Pirate talk for ye!

Every year the 19th day of September is recognized, unofficially, as "International Talk Like A Pirate Day". According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Talk_Like_a_Pirate_Day), it began in 1995 by two guys John "Ol' Chumbucket" Baur and Mark "Cap'n Slappy" Summers (no, not this guy (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/Psykoboy2/ddnick4.jpg)). The day has it's own anthem (http://www.tomsmithonline.com/freestuff/oddio/TLAPD-Streaming064.mp3) and even a patron saint (actor Robert Newton, who played Long John Silver in the film "Treasure Island").

I actually watched the episode of wife swap these 2 guys were on caught a preview for it and thought WTF this out to be good. Their fairly nuts as was the other family in the episode as the slobby pirate family was paired with a neat freak typical californian family.

I went out to dinner last night with some friends and some crazy old man with a skull and cross bones helmet came up behind us and screamed "ARRRRRRR WHY AREN'T YOU TALKING LIKE PIRATES MATEYSSSSS" so we all just started screaming "YARRRRRRRR" and he gave us a big smile and ran away.
