New Warcraft III Map

Continuing a long tradition, Blizzard has released a new multiplayer map (http://www.battle.net/war3/maps/war3xbonusmaps.shtml) for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, DustStorm. "These barren wastes hold nothing for the living, harboring only the bones of those who have fallen to the sun bleached land. The dusty earth thus serves as a savage battleground where armies can unleash their full might unhindered."

I finally finished the Warcraft III mission I was stuck on. As usual, once I came up with a winning strategy the mission seemed easy.

Meh. How about they put thier efforts into another expansion for WC3 instead? I'd like some new units\structures\campign... Now that I've played over 2000 games online, I'm ready for some real updates... Or better yet, StarCraft 2.

I concur. I'd kill for a new war3 expansion pack. Maybe introduce demons as their own unique playable race.

I much rather see a new patch then a new map, but hey its free. Undead is really giving human pros problems, because of destroyers and their smacked up heroes.

I doubt we will see a sc2 since most of the guys who made the first one are long gone. And if we did see one it would probably be 3 years from now because I'm guessing they want to tie in the events of SC ghost.

I wouldn't really want a new race because then they have so many balance issues, just add maybe 2 more units for each race and a hero and try to tighten up balance, if they made a exp that is.

I doubt they'll do a second War3 expansion this late into the game's life, though that would be pretty cool.

I'm hoping Starcraft 2 is announced at Blizcon.

Has anything really cool happened with this game (maps/mods wise) since about a year ago? I used to play it but grew bored of tower defense maps and what not.

tower defense? Uh, towers are essentially useless for defense in this game. Offensively, well, that's a different story....

Hes talking about the custom game.

A good custom map is Defense of the acients or DOTA for short. They made their own spells and heros its pretty cool.

Eh, towers are good at delaying until your army can get back to defend.
