At this point with all the time Forza 2 is taking up, I can't see myself buying this game. Maybe down the road. Looks sweet though.

Seriously, though. I can't wait to see the insane stuff you pull off in this game.
Wait, did I just negate my own criticism of spectator gaming? Damn.

I didn't think they would sell to many pgr4's being that they released 3 or so new racing games recently. I will not buy because A. I played way too much Forza and B. Ill be playing way to much Halo 3. They shouldn't release any new games for 6 months after H3 comes out.

I think there are quite a few people who waited for this. I don't give a crap about Forza's realism and bland tracks for example. I just want shiny cars and awesome graphics. More arcade if you you know what I mean. I haven't bought a racer this year because I waited for this and Burnout.
Then again I watched some of the motor fotoage and I'm still not convinced it works.

by not selling, you mean selling more than a million copies and going platinum right?

The cars and bikes together thing kinda turns me off but I might give it a rent.

Day 1 purchase for me.
Absolutely.
Forza is fun but very time-consuming to set up a proper stable. There's something to be said for pick-your-color-and-go racing.

i've been waiting for this and burnout, too. not played any of the PGRs since 2, which i really liked - burnout's been the only racing game for me since then. but with H3 'round the corner, i think i might hold off... and by then i might have some paradisical burnout, instead :)

I'm with Menage on this. I've realised I prefer arcade type racing with awesome graphics and awesome tracks.
I just can't be bothered to pick up Forza again so i'll be trading it in for PGR 4.

Looks good. I will be waiting a bit though, with Dirt already getting much of my playtime, and skate coming in today. I realize that skate is not a racing game, of course, I just think that it will be my most played game since Oblivion.
I have also recently decided that I prefer arcade. I used to love sim, but just don't have the patience or inclination to spend time tuning anymore. I was pretty sad when I realized this while playing Forza, I wasn't having fun really when tuning my Z. Dirt and Test Drive Unlimited have been much more compelling for me, and that would have never been the case a couple of years ago. Shit, I bought the wheel for Forza, but ended up using it more with Test Drive Unlimited.
