I have no clue what I will be playing this weekend. I need some new games. So, I will be playing, "What shall I play this weekend?" At least football season finally starts and the baseball races are great (Go D-backs!). What will you be playing?

Also, more Metroid Prime 3 and anything else I decide to throw in.

Probably a bit of Catan and Cyberball. Perhaps some GH2. And the MoH: Airborne demo. Don't have the time for much else.
CoD:4 Beta, finishing up my 2nd playthrough of bioshock on hard and picking up blue dragon in an hour should keep me busy this weekend.

My friend is letting me borrow Bioshock for the weekend while he is away, so I plan on capitalizing on that. And everything in me is yelling at me to get Blue Dragon to hold me over till Halo 3, but I don't know if I can spend the $60 on it with all the mixed reviews out there. To those who own it, is it worth it?

I'm nearing the end of Bioshock. Incredible game, after the story got a kickstart I'm all game again. That and maybe some arcade games (Puzzle Fighter, SoR2). I share the sentiment that I need new games, which is insane seeing as I haven't even finished BS yet. Am I spoiled. :O

Hmm...busy weekend planned:
1) Finishing Condemned
2) Play a little Halo 2 (PC)
3) Install Psychonauts (PC) that I just grabbed for $8 (ncix (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=23478&vpn=001PSYC&manufacture=MAJESCO&promoid=1055))
4) Fire up Bioshock (360) on Saturday, devoting the entire day ;)
and, if I have time, Battlefield Modern Combat and NHL2k7 have come in the mail.
Phew...Okay, fine. I am just going to play Bioshock, I assume :p

I am still chipping away at Bioshock. I seem to not be able to get more than a 30 minute block at a time (free from interruptions), but love it. Besides that is Shadowrun and the 4 cheapy XBLA games I piked up last weekend.

Bought Crackdown yesterday, so plenty of that...and some Bioshock tonight. Bejewelled with the missus possibly. I also bought the following from CC today, during their clearance sale, and the most any one game cost was 11 bucks and some tax.

Far Cry Instincts
Amped 3
Condemned
Phantasy Star Universe
Just Cause
PS2:
Valkyrie Profile 2 x2
Tales of Legendia
Xbox:

Fable: The Lost Chapters
DS:
Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime
Final Fantasy: (that Chocobo game--don't remember the name)
Scurge
Magical Starsign
GBA:
WarioWare: Twisted
GC:
Geist
Oh, and I bought Blue Dragon yesterday and it's in the mail. :)

Kickin' it semi-old school, by finishing up GRAW, then hopefully moving on to GRAW 2. In between, some more Bioshock. It also sounds like I need to check out the demos for Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata.

Battlefield 2, I.E. the waiting for PGR4/Halo3/some new game that I can play repeatedly* to come out game.
*That I can afford this year. A variety of other expenses has my budget come up short. I wish they'd just say if Mercs 2 was delayed, if it is I'd go out and buy Strangehold right now

CoD4 Beta, Stuntman: Ignition, and probably a Company of Heroes LAN on Sunday.

09-07-2007, 04:53 PM
Guild Wars for a bit with some pals tonight and maybe a bit in the evenings this weekend.
Of course, I will have to play Picross DS (damn you, Spigot!) as well as Brain Training 2 (and 1 for good measure). I keep thinking about some of my older DS games that I mean to play, and will probably get back to Etrian Odyssey, Phoenix Wright 2, FFIII or Touch Detective for a bit.
Vanguard: saga of heroes (yes, i actully enjoy that game. And i'm not a shamed to admit it!), Gears of war, i really need to get some practice online, and perhaps even start talk with the people via the headset. And i might also revisit my GRAW2, also online. I feel stupid for paying for gold-sub and never playing online ;/

Warhawk and Jeanne d'Arc mostly. I'd love to get in some Final Fantasy XI, but I doubt I'll have the time for it. I'm working again on Saturday, so back to one day weekends for me (man, those suck away game time). Oh, and it's football season again finally, so that'll take up a good portion of my Sunday. :)

I never found myself very interested in the Halo games, but I've been caught in the fervor (and the neato sci-fi plot lines) surrounding the imminent Halo 3 release... I picked up the first two games and plan to play through them before the third hits in a couple weeks.

Aaah, a nice relaxing weekend while the kids visit grandparents...
Ratchet & Clank 2 & 3. Already finished replaying 1.
Final Fantasy 7. I've never actually played it. Got a copy for cheap so I can see if I think it's worthy of all the praise it gets.
Exult. One of these days I'll actually beat the Black Gate before I forget what I'm doing and get completely lost as to what I need to do next. So much fun and so much to do!

City of Heroes/Villains, primarily. Another thread on this site has got me wanting to play through The Curse of Monkey Island again, so there is a good chance I'll dedicate a night to that. I feel like some retro gaming, but I'm not sure what I want to fulfill that craving, maybe I'll start up Monster Party for the NES and wallow in it's insanity.

I'll be playing Oblivion, Guild Wars: Prophecies and tomorrow I'll be picking up Metroid Prime 3 BUT before playing it I need to kill the last boss of MP2.

From what I have read on some of the reviews the difficult is somewhat more easy than MP2 specially in bosses fights.

Honestly, I just installed System Shock 2 and the two re-skin mods. After jumping through hoops, patches, re-writing some .crf files, and downloading a new "working" executable, I finally got the game to run. And it always, ALWAYS crashes right around the moment I enter training (literally a minute into the game). The last post on the help board I was navigating was 2004 ... I deactivated the mods and the game ran maybe a minute longer, but crashed again. These crashes are so hard I can't alt-tab or alt-ctrl-del outta them.
Anyone have any idea how I could get this game running? I'm using WinXP, Intel Centrino Dual Processor, Intel notebook/onboard graphics card, and I'm at my wit's end.

Ha! Got it to work by alt-tabing out of the game and turning off one of the cores on my CPU for the SShock2.exe. Seems the Dark engine (Thief, SS2, etc.) does not care for dual-core or dual CPU rigs.
So, now I am going to enjoy some System Shock 2, hopefully, and see where Bioshock came from. Still really pissed I had to leave the 'states before finishing Bioshock, but c'est la vie.

You are in for a damn treat.
And to whomever said something about not wanting to pay 60 bucks for Blue Dragon, I've found that eBay or CheapAssGamer can be your friend. I bought mine new and sealed for $47 shipped. I refuse to pay 60 bucks for games.

As for me, finished Halo 2 so I am jumping into Psychonauts. This game is so good, I really don't know why I stopped halfway on my first time through.

Exact same problem — during the week it's work and commitments, and on the weekend it's crazy crap like a random thirty mile bike ride before you should really be awake, considering the wine you consumed the previous night.
I'll make some more progress in Bioshock today, hopefully, and I was really considering picking up (Two Worlds || Rune Factory || Metroid Prime 3).

360: Saint's Row, Frogger, might crack into Just Cause
Wii: Metroid Prime 3, WiiSports, Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree
DS: Brain Age 2, Pokemon Diamond, Custom Robo Arena
I just finished up Super Paper Mario... the boss battle was a little disappointing (really easy), but I thought the game had a nice ending. Now I'm just pondering if I let it sit for a while, or actually go through and try to get 100% on the recipes and cards. :o
Regardless, I get to also play the "fly home to Minnesota, then drive back to Vegas in a U-Haul" game this coming week. I'm stoked. There's no way I'm beating my old high score of MN to Vegas in 20 hours, though.

I'm lost in Metroid Prime 3. Forget that for now.
The last chapter of Shining Force is pissing me off. There's these flying things that dodge almost every non-magic attack.
I think I've given up all hope on getting A++ on Big Brain, or a single platinum in Wii Sports (guess those games are too hardcore for me? Damn, I suck :()
I just bought DKC2, but the controls are horrible on a Cube controller. I guess giving the user a controller config for VC titles would hurt VC controller sales too much? (Actually, I'm starting to develop a method of making it work. It involves using my index finger for the Y button).
I'm not playing anything this weekend.

I've been away for the whole week and just got home today.
My weekend gaming was basically some Metroid Prime 3 today after I got home, Zuma on the 360 and I spent what little time I could snatch with my DS over the last few days playing Phoenix Wright: Trials & Tribulations.
I have to say, whoever complains about the import of Ace Attorney 3 having typos from wall to wall is obviously playing a different game than I am. I'm about 2/3rds of the way through the second case and I've only seen one blatant type (on instead of no) and the other one that could have been mistaken for a typo looked more like a really bad pun than a typo.
Absolutely loving it though, moreso than Justice For All.

Well the weekend's almost over. I played City of Heroes/Villains a lot all weekend. Darn fun addictive game! The player base seems nicer over all than a few other MMOGs I've played, and of course it's fun to be a super hero. I tend to start new super heroes just to play around with the character generator and try new combos of powers. Fun times.
