Kingdom Elemental features nigh unlimited number of possible tactics by pitting combinations of your upgradeable heroes and their unique abilities against hordes of unique enemies like GIANT RAT MOBS! Everyone loves giant rat mobs with their secret furry pockets full of gold and armor! Seriously no giant rat mobs, but thARR be Pirates! Giant War Pigs! A crypt full of living dead who are just begging to be killed.....again. Knights who no longer say "Ni!", a Flaming DOOM bear who would like nothing more then to BBQ you for lunch, and so much more!
You can read more and buy the full game at the Chronic Logic website (http://www.chroniclogic.com/index.htm?ke.htm). If you're not convinced, take the demo for a spin (http://www.chroniclogic.com/ke_download.htm) first.

Support the small guy; that's an order!

It's basically MMORPG (WoW) combat, singleplayer. You've got tanks with taunts to keep aggro, healers, and two forms of ranged dps. If you like that sort of thing, give it a shot.

Hey guys I have an idea, let's release a game that looks like it implements 3dfx.

Support the bad graphics; that's the truth!

Nice graphics. So when does this come out for the Wii?

The demo didn't leave a very strong impression.

The graphics are not very good. I'd understand the low quality but they are way too muddy from low resolution and too much bloom.

The unit specialities, limited to 3 per unit type, are explored pretty fast for the 4 unit types available in the demo. Didn't see how effective different unit types are relative to each other. It's not clear from the start of a round what you'll be facing, if it's a boss battle then more than 1 or 2 warriors is waste compared to archers, etc. Every round starts clear with buying all the units again and there is no indication of whether it matters how much money you leave unspent or even how many of your heroes survive the round.

The game goes in pretty good lenghts to remind you it's a demo version with multiple voice messages from the developer, even during the actual gameplay. One problem is that demo is too short to properly play them all.

The demo leaves so little to actual play with the extremely easy difficulty that they could've just uploaded a video or made the demo non-interactive. Let's put it this way - the actual game play is about 5-10 minutes. Tutorial and the campaign opening talk is about twice the length of actual demo play.

The worst part of the demo ends up being the feeling that the full game doesn't offer much more than what the demo showed. Something like terrain having big effect on the battle, having varied enemies with interesting abilities, special levels with different effects, rules and multiple enemy spawn points, fortifications, are things that would make me interested.

As it is, it feels like the full game would be the demo with just 10-20 times the length.

I've played through the full version several times now and still want more. It's perfect for a quick play session, but then ends up sucking you in.

Don't just play through on Easy and be done with it. Purchasing and combining the characters abilities to beat a tough challenge is where the real fun is.
