Geometry Wars: Waves not coming to XBLA, PGR4 exclusive

Speaking with Pro-G (http://www.pro-g.co.uk/news/23-08-2007-6289.html) at GC 2007, Project Gotham Racing series developer Bizarre Creations said that the upcoming Geometry Wars: Waves will bundled with PGR4 exclusively.

Geometry Wars: Waves is to be exclusive to PGR4 and won't be released on Xbox LIVE Arcade - unlike Retro Evolved inside PGR3. There are no details at this time, but we were told that the game is based on Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved and is not the true next game in the series fans might have been waiting for.I hope this will come out eventually for the Arcade.

Exactly. My guess is it's just a slight visual update, maybe a new enemy or two... but the type of thing people would be up in arms about if it were sold on its own.

I suck at GW, but i'd be damned if it's not one of the best pick-up-and-play games ever conceived. i would have payed good money for this. and If bizzare thinks that this is going to help PGR4 sell more copies, they are mistaken. although the game will sell a ton

Maybe they are just adding it in as a bonus for people who were already going to buy it?
I doubt they expect a 5 dollar game to sell a $60 game to some one who isn't interested.

It'll get there. It might not get there until PGR5, but it will get there...exclusives are rare nowadays.

I tried Mutant Storm, but the speed just never jived with me. I liked having almost zero rest time. GWars is a big test of your capability to stay alert over long periods of time.
