The Official XBox site (http://www.xbox.com/en-us/fabletlc/default.htm) has the info that the previously PC-Only Fable version will be making it's way to XBox as well for a bargain price of $19.99.A vast array of expanded content, greater customization options, and additional story lines are available on the Xbox® video game system in Fable®: The Lost Chapters™. The massive original world and exciting main missions from the award-winning role-playing adventure Fable® return with further regions to explore, additional side quests to discover, and new missions to conquer. Fable: The Lost Chapters comes packed with all-new weapons, armor, spells, and quests that shape the hero you grow into.

At least it's only $19.99. I did enjoy the original, I wish you could just download the new stuff via Live for free or a small fee.

$20 is about the right price for that game. I might actually pick it up sometime.

Interesting buisiness situation.

Seems like their way of apologizing, kind of refreshing.

I bought Fable, enjoyed it. Short, never kept up on it before release so had no clue as to the hype. A friend was really excited about it though. Did get me to buy an Xbox.

I thought it was a good game, with some short comings; but some excellent features and generally a well done game. I'll probably fork out the twenty bucks for this edition just for the new junk.

Excuse my laziness, but do you need to buy the original to play the expansion. I've already traded my copy in.

No, I'm pretty sure it's just like the Morrowind GOTY situation: the entire game's on the disc, with the extra content packed into it.

Kick ass. I was really interested in playing this game, but Halo 2 has eaten up all my time - I will definitely be picking this up.

This kicks ass. Fable was one of my favorite games last year. I'll definitely be picking this up.

I was going to get it for the PC, now they have given me an option I don't want, I don't know which will be better, sure the graphics on my PC will smack the crap out of the Xbox version, but will my Xbox controller feel the same on the PC as on the Xbox.

Fable was a good game, with a beautiful gaming world. Too bad the gaming world was as small and non-interactive as could be. Still, the polish (visual, anyway) and presentation of Fable was excellent. If you are starving for a Xbox RPG, this is a good choice, though extremely short. Not much else to choose from in that genre for Xbox, though.

Will loading times be reduced?

Wonder if they'll charge $50 for the PC version.

Just what I was thinking. Those loading times will easily counterbalance any goodness gained from the new loot.

Still, it is pretty cheap.

I didn't pay attention to the hype, so I actually enjoyed the game quite a bit. If you haven't played it before, it's worth $20.

Kinda pisssed I have to go and pay for all the stuff they had promised would be in the game in the first place. This should be downloadable via Live!

Make me pay $20 to finally get the Bright Plate Helm, bah.

A great deal. I thought this game was very very good. And a good length too...I dunno, I simply don't HAVE an entire work week (i.e. 40 hours) to spend on a game, unless maybe it's incredibly open ended (i.e. morrowing) and that's over a couple months or more. Otherwise, a game of 12-15 hours is perfect for me.

aaand I'll also be picking this up. 20 bucks for that game is a steal. I loved the original release even if it was a bit on the short side.

That was exactly what I thought when I read this. If they do, that would be such a kick in the teeth for PC gamers. "Here you go guys, a year or so old game for $30 bucks more than it is on the Xbox! Go buy an Xbox, hahahaha!"

"The massive original world..."

Hahahahaha That's pretty funny.
