FFF. For those that don't know what that means, it stands for Finally Fucking Friday. And with every Friday comes another edition of Evil Avatar Arcade Fridays.
This week we've got a few great titles being featured:
Bomberman (XBLA)
Uno (XBLA)
Pokemon (DS)
Calling All Cars (PSN)
To join up hit up the Chatroom (http://www.bapenguin.com) around 10PM Eastern. Feel free to join up and organize any game you want as well!

Is Pokemon considered an "arcade" title?

No...but it was suggested. Figured why not.

No...but it was suggested. Figured why not.Not complaining, just curious! :)
Now, I just need to get me something to PLAY these games on so I can participate. Hopefully we'll see some online multiplayer "arcade" titles on the Wii sometime soon. (yeah, right )

I'm down for
Calling All Cars (PSN)
I just have to ask, how much are the big three paying you guys to make people buy all of these "arcade" titles to play on Friday nights? :p

So... how exactly does this work?
I might be down with Uno, so long as you dont mind getting sworn at alot. That game boils my blood sometimes... it and Catan.

Picross for DS would be good for a future arcade night.
However, as I was chatting with Spigot the other night, I don't know how many times I'd like to play some DS multi-goodness with another person but I spend more time trading friend codes and then I figure forget it.

Just meet up in the chatroom to exchange Gamertags/Friend Codes/PSN Names or whatever and organize games and go. The idea with the list is to give people a focus, but obviously people should go and play whatever they want, as long as it's with the EvAv community. :)

Ahhhh, so its kinda like a rotating "Graw Tuesday, Forza Wednesday" type thing, but always Arcade type games? Gotcha.

I'm up for Uno or Texas hold'em maybe. As to being cursed at Serapth, I'm ok with that...I've been known to drop a rant from time to time ;)

Only occasionally :p
I may be down for some Bomberman myself. Maybe I'll get around to finally buying that camera/uno/Live kit.

I missed Carcassonne and Worms when they were released due to moving and job hunting...are there solid EA crowds still playing these games?

I play worms like mad, mostly with my neighbor but I'm down for some Live games.

Anyone down for some Spyglass?
Otherwise, it's been way too damn long since I fired up Uno with the EvAv crew.
EDIT: Also, it'd be SUPER fun to get a full-on game of Texas Hold'em going, I think.

I might be on tonight and if people are around on XBLA, I'll play something. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind exchanging or playing some Picross on the WiFi if people can handle the code exchange. Stupid friend codes.
Actually, Gamealmighty is supposed to have something over there for handy friend-code exchange. I haven't looked into it but it'd be nice to have something where I can just look up a user and see all of their friend codes.

Um... if you check out any EvAv member's profile, their friend codes are all on there, if they remembered to fill 'em out.
EDIT: Which reminds me, I need to add my Pokemon and Star Fox codes on there. And I might have to pick up Picross.

Not sure if I'll be around tonight, but if so, I'd be up for Uno.
Also, erich, I'm pretty much always up for some Carcassonne. I'm really enjoying that game.

And pick up Picross at your peril. The worst thing is that they have it as a budget "Touch Generations" title, so even a rational decision not to spend a lot of money on a game goes out the window.

Has anyone picked up the new river tiles for Carcassonne? I wouldn't mind playing some of that tonight... I'm just not sure if getting 12 new river tiles is worth anything.

I really really REALLY need to get a better internet connection. I've been feeling like shit all day and don't plan on going out, so a little EvAv arcade action would have been great. :(

I just got back from work, and I'd love some Uno/Hold'em/whatever goodness.

And everyone was playing Catan or the everlovin' Dashboard. Oh well. My copy of EDF arrived today so I played it for a bit.

I'd challenge you to a Pokemon battle, but I've got no interest in getting my ass kicked this early in the evening. *lol*

I honestly have barely played Pokemon Pearl since shortly after I got it. I spent maybe a week putzing around with it and then it got stuffed to the bottom of my DS case while I got lost in Etrian Odyssey.
I actually just put my Pearl back in its box and up on my shelf for the time being. Picross has consumed my soul (though I'm going to try break the Picross curse by playing some Magical Starsign right... NOW!)

Much thanks to FoodNipple, who actually extended an invite on XBLA.
Where the hell were the rest of you at 10:30pm Central time? *LOL*

I watched a bunch of you playing holdem, and was so tempted to join in. That said, The Darkness had me thoroughly in its grips. Didnt get to bed until 4am, but damned if I didnt beat that bitch. Frankly, havent actually beaten that many games, so thats high praise.
