Whole lotta shit on that list. Bourne is definitely on my to-see list.

I like Matt Damon. I'm glad he's doing well.

How on earth did Underdog make that much?

Then again, I said the same thing last week for Chuck and Larry.

Advertising is a very powerful force. I saw ads for it all over. I'm surprised it made that little.

I've never gotten the appeal of the Bourne movies. Didn't really like the first two, though I'll admit they are good action movies. People seem to think they are well made, and that, to me, is not the case.

My only problem with the Bourne movies is the shakey cam. The second movie was the worst of the punch in that respect. I almost got dizzy watching it in theatres.

There must be some statistics somewhere that say new IP is riskier (financially) than a sequel or a retread of something old. Unless we can get the number regarding money and risk to change, we will continue to get sequels and remakes - the movie studios are solely focused on making money.

Was this Hot Rod's opening weekend? If so, then WOW, very underwhelming. I'm not a huge Adam Sandberg fan, but I expected a little more from that one. True that?

Also, can't wait to see Ultimatum. Looks like it might actually be a decent threequel.

Isn't there 2 more books in the Bourne series? They left The Bourne Ultimatum open for another one....

yes, but they are by a different author. Also, I have yet to hear/read anywhere that Damon signed on to do movies for these two new books or if the studio is courting the idea of doing so.

The movies don't follow the same storyline/timeline.

This one was ok, action was cool, story wasn't too bad. I really hate how fast they cut everything, though. There comes a point where the action becomes so fast that you can't even follow any of it, which makes it lose most of its "cool".

There were quite a few mistakes in this one, though. There is a scene that is 100% hand-to-hand where Bourne's knuckles come out of it looking like ground beef. A scene or two later and his knuckles are pristine. Maybe he has Wolverine's regenerative ability.

I just read the Bourne Betrayal and they couldn't make that movie as part of this timeline as he still doesn't remember quite a bit, yet it is after Conklin's and Marie's deaths. All of the people in CI are different too.

The Bourne Ultimatum was amazing. I love the hand held "shakey cam" direction of the movie. It really puts you into the action. I absolutely loved it and hope they go on to make another one. It was definitely left wide open for another movie.

Ultimatum was very good. Too much 24 computer/office crap kept it from being better than the first but by far best "three" movie this summer. I hate the "shakey cam", epecially when action scenes are done this well.

Not really. Don't highlight anything after this if you haven't seen the movies/read the books.

Bourne remembers everything. Regaining his memories was the central plot point. It was the driving force behind everything.

Treadstone and Treadstone II have been revealed to the press and everybody is going to jail, including the person who masterminded the program that changed him into Jason Bourne.

At the end of the movie, Jason Bourne died and David Webb was reborn, reversing the act that started the story in the first place.

Captain-frackin'-Kirk!!!!

I don't think that's been confirmed, but it'd be awesome. Guy who played Syler on Heroes has been confirmed as Spock though.

Oh, and so has Leonard Nimoy.

To me, comparing the first with the second is ridiculous. I was sad to see that they went with the director of Supremacy for this one.

I think the first was far better than the second if that helps, but they are both filmed poorly, and they are not cut well. People like them because everyone seems to have a fanatical devotion for Matt Damon, but the books are better, and even then, the story isn't all that great.

I was surprised by how much I was laughing when I went to see it. I was cracking up nearly the entire time, and the humor is so... Simpsons. I loved the whole movie, and if you are a fan of the show, you should definitely go see it. It's a fitting tribute to a great tv show.

i hope and pray that the "new" bourne books don't get made into movies. the original ludlum trilogy was simply amazing. the new stuff by the new guy, i haven't heard much good from. i refuse to read them in fear of tarnishing my memory of ludlum's work. oddly enough, the second entry in both formats was the low point of the series. if you're a fan of the bourne movies, or just excellent spy fiction, read the bourne trilogy. ill give you $100 if you don't like them.

ps. if anybody knows where i can get the original bourne identity tv miniseries w/ richard chamberlain, id like to know.

Saw The Borne Ultimatum last week and really enjoyed it. I wasn't a huge fan of the first two, but this one is definitely a solid action thriller and ties things together well.

Just saw Transformers - good lord that was fun. I can see where the detractors are unhappy with the film - but overall that was awesome. I didn't even start to wonder how much time had gone by until 2 hours into the film - usually I am starting to think about that within 30 or 40 minutes.

Matt Damon should have been the new James Bond.
