How the hell did it get to be August already? I have very strong memories of digging out of our house last December through January, and now it's almost time for us to prepare for that all over again.
Anyway, the saying goes that time waits for no-one, and neither does video gaming news, so here's a recap of the last week's happenings.
Fittingly for the first link, it appears that Metallica will be offering up their mega-selling One for Guitar Hero III (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33689).
Sticking with the Hero franchise, it appears that all may not be well, sales-wise, for the brand (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33625).
Moving on, Bungie this week confirmed what many people had prayed for - CO-OP PLAY FOR HALO 3 (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33521)!
What else? Oh, rumor has it that L.A. Noire is once again exclusive to the PS3 (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33691).
Problems with Q&A testing lead to the delay of the PS3's Lair (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33606).
New screens for Gran Turismo 5 were unveiled (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33628).
A new expansion for World of Warcraft was announced (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33705).
Rockstar/Take-Two suffered yet another setback with the news that the hugely anticipated murder simulator Grand Theft Auto IV was being delayed till some time in 2008 (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33661).
EvAv Arcade Fridays was announced (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33704)!
And that just about does it for this past week. With the exception of the GTA IV debacle, it was a rather quiet week.
