The site that shall not be named has reported that 10tacle will be unveiling 6 new games at this years Games Convention in Liepzig. Since we cannot link there I'll point to a German site that is also carrying the news (http://www.pcgames.de/?article_id=608476) and you can dig out the English translation for yourself. ;)

This is especially exciting for me as a certain developer which is very close to my black heart is making one of the six! That game is Black Prophecy, a sci-fi MMO. Oh, and it looks like this...

Anyone else get excited about Homeworld 3 when they saw this image? I was really disappointed when I read the article.

On the other hand a space MMO could be cool if done right. EVE is alright but just doesn't click with me like those other popular MMO's do.

Still too big for us 800x600 folk. I'd hate to think how it looks when browsing on a PS3 or Wii.

X3 looked good... but it was as shitty a space sim as you can find.

If you base your excitement on graphics, especially from an unproven mmorpg dev, then your setting yourself up for a huge disappointment.

Black Prophecy looks exactly the same as X3 Reunion, graphics-wise.

Isn't about time we give the whole k*taku ban a rest?

I mean, if we're to the point that we're basically referring to the site, but we are just circumventing the auto censor in news articles on the main page, I think it's just time to give it up.

I tried playing EVE Online but it just didn't pull me in. Gorgeous and fun to play but the storyline and being stuck in the ship all the time just didn't keep me.

I loved Earth and Beyond back in the day. If they can pull off an MMO similar to that, I'm all over it. I'd love to see a sci-fi MMO that integrates planetary quests (IE: on the surface out of the ship) as well as space, I'm sold.

Earth and Beyond had flaming space skulls... now I'm all for flaming skulls... they have their place.... my science fiction game is NOT one of them.

Yeah, I agree. That's funny as hell and just as scary because we all know how fucking true it will be! :(

Man, I'll tell you what we need: Elite IV. Do you have any idea how many hours I logged with Frontier? You don't want to know, but I'm fairly certain that it's more time than I actually spent at school that year.
