Jeff Minter did an interview (http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/games/archives/2005/07/05/jeff_minter_vs_xbox_360_how_microsoft_bought_the_l ight_synth_vision.html)with The Guardian about the XBox 360 and the lightsynth is making for it.
Yes, I think so. When the x360 is installed as the media hub then users will be doing far more with it than just running games. I know that as soon as I get mine it'll be hooked up to my music server and my plasma telly and I'll never again listen to music at home without a lightsynth accompaniment. I am sure that many more non-game applications will emerge as game consoles transition into media hubs.
I will do exactly the same! Now hopefully Jeff will make some games as well on the 360. I would love a new Tempest.
