Fable: The Lost Chapters is now fully optimized for the Windows platform, complete with expanded content, greater customization, new quests and enhanced graphics.

In Lionhead's role-playing adventure game every action determines a character's skills, appearance and morality. A character's life story is created from childhood through adulthood and on to old age. One can grow from an inexperienced child into the most powerful being in the world, spoken of by all and immortalized in legend. As additional story and side quests await, so too does the path of righteousness, as well as the life of evil. With every choice, a character transforms into a reflection of his actions and decisions. Age leaves characters wizened and battle leaves characters scarred in the world of Fable: The Lost Chapters.

So much hype, so little substance.

Glad to hear it, Perigon. I enjoyed it, but it was so absurdly mediocre. I was about to ask if I was the only one. But in reality, it's a perfect rental game. Short to beat, not too much actual substance, but pretty fun nonetheless.

I really enjoyed Fable, though it definitely didn't live up to expectations.

I would agree that it is a good rental game, as that was what it turned out to be for me. But then again, I wasn't expecting much from it, not after the first year of development. It was fun for a couple of days though, one of these days I may pick it up in the bargain bin.

If you can look past the fact that Peter Millionbux himself claimed it would be the best game evar you'll find a very fun RPG. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes games like Zelda and Jade Empire. Short but sweet.

The art was pretty but the simplistic morality, confining level design, and frequent loading times were quite irritating.

I think this is just true of all the games this fellow releases. They are all good games, but they all get hype as if they are the next coming of digital Jesus.
