Raven Software artist Glen Angus passed away on July 19th. Though you may not know his name, you have probably seen some of his work. Here are some links with additional information:

Announcement at Raven Software's site (http://www.ravensoft.com/glen_angus.aspx)

Memorial article at CGSociety (http://features.cgsociety.org/story_custom.php?story_id=4169) and Glen's portfolio there (http://gangus.cgsociety.org/gallery/)

Memorial article at Wizards of the Coast (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/daily/mc100), where he previously worked

Glen's web site (http://www.gangus.net)

This story got lost in the server shuffle, but I thought it would be worth bringing back.

It's sad, I checked out his art and I really like it, too.

In an almost random coincidence, I was playing X-Men Legends 2 today, and actually made a note of how awesome the shot of Juggernaut coming out of the flames was.
Didn't even know it was his work until i read this article.

So I can definitely say I'm saddened by the loss, and his work was excellent. Be at Peace.

Sad news. His portfolio is impressive.

Didn't Rockstar just lose one of their artists?

Glen was a master of his craft. We have lost an amazing artist. But, his family knew him as an amazing father, it seems, as his website shows a genuinely caring person. I hope that he, and his family, can have eternal peace.
