Burnout Revenge lets gamers rip through rush hour traffic and lay waste to scores of rubbernecking roadhogs in an over-the-top scene of vehicular mayhem. In addition to tricked out new race, crash and road rage modes, Burnout Revenge takes the series' blistering speed and spectacular destruction to dizzying new heights with an all-new Revenge mode, challenging gamers to battle the clock and unleash their frustrations on rush hour traffic.

Check the 40 new Burnout Revenge screens (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=26491&mode=thread&order=0) over at WorthPlaying.

I actually just picked up Burnout 3 last Friday, since when I've clocked up over 30 hours, and I will echo the sentiment of "best racing game I've ever played". Not that I've ever played that many racing games, except for various incarnations of Mario Kart. But nothing compares to drifting perfectly around a corner, weaving expertly through some oncoming traffic, and then casually nudging one of your rivals into a concrete pillar. It's the "sleeping with a supermodel" of videogames.

In conclusion, Burnout: Revenge, to be bought at launch.

How come the graphics look worse than Burnout 3 somehow?

You must have clicked on the link that leads to the first PS3 in-game shots.

I'm more interested in getting the next game on PSP. Burnout is the kind of quick pick-up game that bores me after 15 minutes on a console, but is perfect for portable gaming - where I need something that CAN be easily broken up into 10-15 minute chunks, and enjoyed in that time.

Worthplaying needs to implement a slideshow feature. I'm not dealing with a new window for every shot.

No, don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to this a lot. It just stood out to me when I looked at those screens.

i pretty much agree. i -wish- they'd taken out the loadtimes on the xbox version with some HDD caching type action - damn you and your backwardness, PS2!!!

was really the only reason i stopped playing. that and my reactions were not quite fast enough for some of thoes l8r stages!

Burnout3 was the best purchase I made last year on games. I've logged countless hours and still go back and play some Live action.

I just can't decide if I want Burnout4 for Xbox or the 360.
