Just wondering why my post of the same title wasn't posted? I submitted it around 10:30am EST today. The only difference was I said Happy "We kicked the Ass of the British" Day. Maybe that was too offensive and the powers that be didn't want to put it up.

In Rhode Island (where I work) they celebrate the day we dropped the bomb on the Japanese. Yep, I get a day off at work in remembrance of all the Japanese we toasted.

I was going through the list of holidays I get off, one was "Victory Day" in Rhode Island. Very nice.

This is the first Fourth I haven't worked in five years. Most years past have been 10-12 hours a day all weekend. I'm being very lazy this year.

Friggin' STEAK TONIGHT! Grilled out.. with homemade potato salad, fresh garden veggies, lots of soft drinks, friends, family, fireworks, fried green tomatos, friend potatos, fried onions, shrimp on the barbee.

lol It rocks to have a reason to do all this crap.
