With online play being a part of this, I'll just have to pick it up on the PC. I am really dissapointed with the PS2's online capabilities and I do not own an XBox.

Or... you can not pick it up. The PC version will probably be a shitty console port. PCs don't generally lend themselves to the mindless beat 'em up genre, anyway.
