Eurogamer (http://www.eurogamer.net/) has posted a hands-on preview (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=59836) including screenshots of Mario & Luigi 2 for the Nintendo DS.

The original was great fun and this will be a title that I'll add to my DS library the day it comes out.

I'm excited about this game too. Finally something for the DS that I will actually want to purchase. I haven't turned that thing on since March...

If you want a great game to play on the DS (and probably the only one besides Mario 64), get Kirby Canvas Curse. It is an unbelievably fun and original game if a little easy. Don't be fooled by the kiddie look of it. And I also will buy Mario and Luigi 2 as soon as it is out. The first one has to by one of my top 3 favorite GBA games.

Yes! Buy Kirby! That is all...

Superstar Saga was a fantastic game, with an end boss that took me forever and a day to beat.

Between this and Canvas Curse the DS is starting to get some solid games, which is good.

Funny how Nintendo claimed around Christmas time that the DS was not a successor to the GB Advance but merely a "third tier" in its system offerings. But where has all of the first party support for the GBA gone? Straight to the DS which will soon include sequels or rehashes of every GBA franchise. Why are they even bothering to release the GB Micro, an updated version of a system that is already practically dead?

companies always promise to support their old consoles and it's always a lie. Remember the Genesis, 32X, Saturn strategy?

Kirby was top notch, and i enjoyed Yoshi Touch & Go immensely dispite the structure of the game, the gameplay was just original enough to keep me coming back to it.

That with Mario 64, feel the magic, and now Meteos aswell, the DS has a good line up of solid titles, just a shame it took so long. Lots more on the way though!

Yoshi, and Warioware have both had new sequals on the GBA since the DS's launch, not to mention the awesome new Fire Emblem and Mario Party. 3rd party support is still solid with titles like Riviera: The Promised Land, Megaman BN and Megaman Zero titles still in development for the system.

Not to mentio GBA games and systems still sell extremely well.

I dont know where you are getting your information from there Furious Wang, but it seems to be a very unreliable source.

You would think that those brothers would be ready to retire by now...

I went a little beyond just "beating" the first Mario and Luigi. You ever enjoy a game a lot and you realize that it's coming to an end so you do the side quests and what not? Well I had that experience doubling badge if I didn't take any damage in a fight so I would just hop on top of enemies to start the fight and it killed them all. Then I ended up creating all the bean drinks so that I got that rare item...thing. I don't know what you would call it, but after every fight you got a rare item. So I had 20 green and 20 red peppers, full money, 200+ stache(luck) points on luigi and some ridiculously powerful clothes going into the final fight. The bosses in the castle all died within 3 hits and I was level 41.

Anyone else ever do this for a game? I know some people that did that with Ocarina of Time, they got like all the heart pieces and stuff before they finished the game. That's when I know I really enjoyed a game, is when I end up going off and finding all the stuff and having fun doing it.

Doesn't appear to be any shortage of new GBA games. DK: King of Swing looks very interesting, as does Mario Tennis.

The GBA is *so* dead in fact that it sold 223,000 units in May.

And it beat the PSP in Japan last week...
