.hack// Goes Online

The next game in the .hack// series is to be online. .hack//fragment (http://www.pro-g.co.uk/news/nid/987/1014/) will bring true online gameplay to the Japanese game series for the first time and also offers unique environment building on your PC.

I'm not sure this info is accurate... I saw the trailer for the next .hack game, and all of the info about it.... It's story driven, and has set characters. Maybe it'll be like a Resident Evil: Infection sort of thing, but that's really the only way I could see it being online.

That's interesting, since everything I've seen says that the next .hack// game is called .hack//G.U. and comes out in November (according to Gamespot). Its more likely that this isn't the next .hack game, but the one after (or even a side story sorta deal).

Well, I'm sure it can't be any worse than the anime series. 24 episodes long that could have been edited down to 4. Time I'll never get back, *sigh*.
