Boomtown (http://ps2.boomtown.net/en_uk/articles/art.view.php?id=8587) has a bunch of new screens up from the upcoming PSP game, Burnout Legends.
Wow...looking very good. Burnout 3 was filled with gaming goodness, now we may have it in pocket sized format!

I had a chance to play this at E3 while I was in line for the PS3 show. From what I've played of it, it resembles Burnout 3 pretty well with some minor changes (the crashes aren't as detailed, no crash replay). Obviously to put something like this on a handheld, the graphics were dumbed down a bit, but regardless of that I still had a lot of fun with it. What I was really surprised to see, was that the sense of speed is still there, so when you are boosting down a section of straight road you get that feeling like "holy crap, I'm going really fast." Hopefully nothing goes out of whack and ruins this thing for it's fall release, because this is one of the games I'm looking forward to having on a handheld.

I can't wait until its price drops and I can justify buying it. I'm still not in a zone where I can pay $40-50 for a handheld game.
If they can get load times down, I'll buy it.

If it has short/no load times, cheaper price but keep the gameplay of the burnout series intact, it sounds like a winner. I'd be willing to take a severe hit on graphics if it plays and feels like Burnout.
Shoot, If they could get the Burnout experience on my cellphone, I'd deal with SNES graphics to take it on the road, as long as it still plays like Burnout.
