Sounds like fun. Next year I'm going to do World Horror Convention (http://www.whc2006.org/), but I still want to make it to an E3, GenCon and QuakeCon eventually.

So $20 this is where they announce the next Diablo or Starcraft. I think everyone expected something at E3, this may be why they held off.

I thought GenCon "ain't what it used to be", or has it had a resurgence in recent years?

I don't think they will announce starcraft or diablo this year. But I do think they will announce officially and give details on the World of Warcraft expansion we already know has been in development. Unless they announce it before. If they do then they would announce something else. You don't hold one of these for the first time unless you plan to announce a new product of some sort.

And yes they have unofficially confirmed the expansion but this would be where they do it for real.
