The moment all your 2k Football Fans have been waiting for. The Official Unveiling of All Pro Football 2k8 (http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=20415&type=mov&pl=game).

While the graphics could use some work, the animations are absolutely sick.

The Icky Shuffle. That is all.

I would buy it just because it isn't from EA.

I loved NFL 2k5, but is there a reason they're still using 2k5's graphics in a game in 2007? The graphics in this game look putrid by today's standards. I mean, they're an absolute joke.

I'm pretty sure it's Ozomatli. But that's what I was asking above. ;)

Edit: Even if it's not, I highly recommend everyone to check out their album Street Signs (http://www.amazon.com/Street-Signs-Ozomatli/dp/B00025EU0E/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2/002-3029201-0528027?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1181827019&sr=8-2). It's very good. Embrace the Chaos (http://www.amazon.com/Embrace-Chaos-Ozomatli/dp/B00005NWLD/ref=pd_bbs_sr_5/002-3029201-0528027?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1181827019&sr=8-5) is good as well, but I prefer Street Signs.

That was definitely Chali 2na (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chali_2na) of Jurassic 5 fame, and the All-Pro site has this song listed on the soundtrack, so this is my guess. "Something Different featuring Chali 2Na & Keno 1".

Ah, that's probably why I recognized the voice. It's very distinctive.

He is a founding member of the racially integrated activist salsa funk band Ozomatli; although no longer an official member (having been replaced as resident MC by Jabu of 4th Avenue Jones), he continues to collaborate with them on occasion and maintains his friendships with them.

Hopefully this turns out good. I refuse to support Madedn with it's horrendous exclusivity deal, so having a good new football game would be welcome.

The player models did not look as good as Madden, but the overall presentations looks bad ass. Madden has realistically modeled stadiums but it does not have anyone on the side line other than several clones of one player standing around and one coach. Even though the stadium is realistically rendered in Madden down to the last brick, there is no real "life" injected into the stadium like variations in the crowd and celebratory fireworks during actual play.

I donīt know, the faces look good for a next-gen game to me, and the animations are top class for next-gen. If the gameplay is in the same awesome class as NFL2k5, itīs a sure buy. After NFL2k5, I just canīt play madden, itīs just not as good in my book.
Hooray for APF2k8 :)

Also , late hits are in! :D

2K5 is/was the best football game out there.

I'm so primed for a return to football for myself, as I've NEVER bought a Madden title (who buys that shit every freaking year? Millions, sadly...).

Looks like Madden but without the real NFL teams. I was expecting something new. Oh well.

That's an ignorant statement. Did you ever play the 2k series? 2k is a different animal from Madden. 2k5 was an absolutely amazing game and in many ways, hell in most way, it's better than the shovelware than Madden has been the last few years.

What's killing me about 2k8 is that the graphics are brutal for a new-gen product. If it's gonna look like 2k5, then don't charge me $60, ya know?

Sweet animations. Was gonna buy this anyways, but now I'm sold.

Eh... can't deny being disappointed by the trailer, but I'm still looking forward to playing the game. The 2K gameplay will more than make up for any graphical deficiencies.

I'll own it on the basis of previous versions having animations and presentation that were completely off the charts for the time frame.

Hopefully, the graphical quality was low either due to compression issues or they'll be spicing up the "pretty" factor before it releases.

Hmmm...whatever. I don't really like Madden, but this isn't going to make purchase a game, either.

NCAA, on the other hand. That I must have.

I refuse to support Madedn (sic) with it's horrendous exclusivity deal,

Why hate on EA for this? You think Visual Concepts/Take-Two wasn't bidding for NFL exclusivity? Blame the NFL for this, not the winning bidder.

Sweet Jesus, the Ickey Shuffle! And did you see those rockets shooting from the built-in stadium plane? Way cool!

I'll buy it...if it's $40.

In the meantime, I'll keep waiting for NFL 2K5 to appear on the backward compatible list. It could happen...the last one put NFL Fever 2004 on it.

As should be expected, the animation quality alone beats the pants off anything EA has to offer.
