wow, what a great style, reminds me of what the hulk game attempted with it's cell shading. I'm watching a trailer of this game on gamespot as I type and it looks great in motion, hope the gameplay is good.

It's cool to see the dark black-alien-juice spiderman (I've forgotten it's name) and that you can play as him.

Off-Topic, are the Ultimate Spiderman books any good? I love the Spiderman character, but haven't read a good book with him in it forever. Any suggestions?

By the way, I mean good. I loathe shitty writing and art.

I like the Ultimate Spiderman series, most of them are qell done but they do rotate writers here and there so sometimes you get issues that aren't quite up to snuff. Overall though I very much enjoy Ultimate Spiderman.

On a much more on-topic note, the game does look promising so far.

Any idea if Bendis - guy who writes Ultimate - had any input in the game? I know he's a bit over-booked given how many titles he writes (I would say Dare Devil is the best at the moment) but his work is always fantastic. If he had anything to do with this, I'm all over it.

this is one game where pictures dont do the game justice. like the wind waker, video must be seen to fully appreciate the visuals.

Brian Michael Bendis is indeed writing the story for this game. I believe it was mentioned the timeline for this game takes place sometime after Ultimate Venom was created in the comics.

well, considering I kinda liked Spider-man 2 (hey the combat, story, and everything sucked EXCEPT the swinging) all they have to do is make everything as fun as swinging was, and maybe make that a bit better too, as why not?

nice, looks really good, im stoked. Too bad Venom has to eat people for energy though, thats kind of...weak.
