TeamXbox (http://www.teamxbox.com/) has posted an article (http://interviews.teamxbox.com/xbox/1192/Tom-Clancys-Rainbow-Six-Lockdown-Persistent-Elite-Creation-Mode/p1/) discussing Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Lockdown's Persistent Elite Creation (P.E.C.) mode.
Here's a bit from the article...
There are two things that players earn when they play in Persistent Elite Creation (P.E.C) mode, first they earn experience points wich go towards their level and credits that allow equipment purchasing and maintenance. Once enough experience is acquired the character goes up a level and earns either a new skill or training points. Training points are used to customize your character. Each skill has categories that can be enhanced...the amount of training points you acquire throughout your carreer will not allow you to maximise everything so the choices you make are what makes your character different from everyone elses. The amount of experience that you earn in a game is affected by how long the game was, your personnal performance to a small degree and we even have compensations for lower levels fighting against much higher oponents.
Nice, yet another reason for me to keep getting this series.
