Rockstar Games is proud to announce the fourth installment of its critically-acclaimed and genre-defining Midnight Club franchise, Midnight Club: Los Angeles. Developed by series creator Rockstar San Diego, Midnight Club: Los Angeles will be available for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION 3 system in early 2008.

This is good news. I loved MC 1 & 2. Never got a chance to play 3, but I'll definately be looking forward to this one.

I liked MC3 a lot. Wacky special abilities for cars and abusive handbreaking makes for good times. Here's hoping this one has a more stable framerate though. :)

These games are decent and for the most part I have enjoyed them. If MC:LA gets good reviews, I'll probably pick it up.

Then again, this is Midnight Club, which is awesome. Hopefully, the licensed cars and bikes from MC3 Dub Edition return... :)

This is the last recent series next-gen update I've been waiting for. I love this series and completely can't wait. I just wish they didn't ditch their "multiple cities" style for just LA. I'd rather bounce between a few smaller cities than have yet another "one huge city" game.

Loved Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition! It's probably my favorite racer of all time. I hope this one has more of the same that made MC3 such a fun game to play. Even my "non-gamer" wife loved it!

That's because the cars control like cartoon rollerskates on ice! :p

I would've like the game if it weren't so dark and drab looking, with some of the worst FMV I've seen since the Sega CD days, low framerate and the ability for Dodge Neon to beat a Viper! :eek:
