Week Twenty-One of the Comic Day! comics discussion thread (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29986) has been posted! Join us there for talk about what comics are coming out this week and what we've been reading in general. Feel free to check out Diamond's shipping list (http://www.diamondcomics.com/shipping/shipping_051607.txt) beforehand for a look at everything hitting the shelves this week. Here's my top picks for the week:

Countdown #50 -- The first issue of DC's new weekly comic was really good! Serious! Jump on while it's still easy enough to catch up.

Blade: Dead Again TP -- Marc Guggenheim's Blade relaunch has been going full-steam right from the start, featuring cameos by a vampirized Spider-Man, Dracula, Dr. Doom, Wolverine, and, yes, Santa Claus. This trade collects the first six self-contained stories, with each one telling a tale from Blade's present and past. Give it a shot.

Question of the week: It's one of the biggest debates in comics right now, and with the release of All-Star Batman and Robin #5 after nearly a year of delay, it's time for Evil Avatar to weigh in. Would you prefer that DC and Marvel try to stop delays on their big books by bringing in fill-in artists or writers when necessary or that they stick to the original team even when it means several extra months between issues?
