Worms 4: Mayhem Demo

Worms 4: Mayhem is a return to the series' trademark gameplay and sees Team 17's core Worms design and development team regrouping for a game of explosive annelid annihilation.

A few days earlier than expected, Codemasters has released a Worms 4: Mayhem demo offering 2 maps (Quick match/multiplayer mode, and story mode).

220MB for just a demo. I remember the original worms game used to fit on a floppy or something.

One server is unresponsive, the other tells me my position in the queue is -2 / 4294967285 and the last gives 28KB/S.

Before the usual Worms 3D bashing... I loved the 3D version; it had some camera querks, but if you've played Worms Fortress, you'll know the camera has been BIGTIME reworked. I'm looking forward to 4. :)

This is very good. They've really learnt from the previous 3D Worms games. The camera is still a very little bit laggy, but that only bothered me once. The game itself is the same old Worms with better weapons (you can now choose when to drop airstrike bomb cows as the plane flies over), proper lip syncing and a wonderful atmosphere.

I havn't played the new ones - although I have very fond memories of the first couple ones. Sounds like they are hit and miss.

Wow. I have to agree with Varsity. I had a lot more fun playing this version of worms than Worms 3D. The camera is still quirky, but more of the classic worms spirit is intact.

i'd love to play this but i get a bsod as soon as i attempt to start a game
