Slashdot (http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/06/21/0133233&from=rss) brings us this article about a classic MMOG, Castle Infinity. Apparantly one of the first graphical MMOs (created way back in 1996), the game has been gone for about eight years. now it has been rescued and released for fre by a kind group of past players.

If anyone on here wants to download it, we could have an EA get-together in game tonight. Who's with me?!

The website appears to be having some bandwidth problems since it got Slashdotted, but hopefully it's cleared up by my lunch break so I can download that sucker. Heh.

I'm checking it out as we speak, about to download the installer. Trying to hunt down screenshots on the net too.

Screenshots! Not a bad idea. I honestly have no clue what this game is like. But that won't stop us from crashing it with an EA partay. I think.

Anyone care to mirror the installer? I don't think we'll be getting it from the official source anytime soon.

I got the installer finally, but actualy installing is a bit of a problem at the moment. It's gonna take quite a while :p As in, we might wanna put that party on hold until tomarrow night.
