Worthplaying (http://www.worthplaying.com/) has posted (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=26189&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0) that Atari has delayed Dragonshard yet again, this time the game is slated to be released in September 2005. Dragonshard is a RTS based in a new Dungeons and Dragons universe called Eberron.
Either the game's in serious trouble or they are really trying to polish it. I am leaning towards it being in serious trouble, but time will tell.

I am in the beta, and they are doing an outstanding job taking in suggestions from the testers, I would actually lean towards the latter myself based on what I've seen from the beta tests. I think they are getting a flood of outstanding ideas from the testers, and are implementing them rather then push the game out at a set time.

The EB Games website has had it with a September date for a couple of weeks now. Really disappointing... I was looking forward to this one helping me get through the summer.

That's one beta I wouldn't've minded getting into. Hopes are still up for this one.

I'm looking forward to this myself. I'm currently reading the Eberron sourcebook and it's a very cool world. I just want to play a Warforged, PnP or computer version, I don't care :)

I was accepted into the beta, but wasn't able to play it because they never bothered telling me beforehand that my on-board video garbage wasn't enough for the game (though I'll admit, it isn't really enough for anything). So I deleted the install, only to discover yesterday that my mother would be more than willing to purchase a decent video card for the computer.
I'm not too upset though; the game looks decent at best. To me, anyway.

What game of note recently has been able to run off of on-board video? :|
