Wow, that looks pretty sweet. I hope they can capture the atmosphere of the Phantasy Star's of Genesis days.

I have been aching for a new single player Phantasy Star game for years. I wish someone would develop a single player Phantasy Star game for one of the handhelds (especially the PSP).

You do know that you can play the old Phantasy Star games on emulators, right? I have all 4 running on my phone, the Treo 650. Genesis emulation is perfect and full-speed.

If you want an even better experience, check out the Tapwave Zodiac. It has a higher resolution screen than the PSP, better battery life, better sound, more emulators, and it is a freakin PDA. You can play everything, provided you own the original rights, cartridges, blah blah.

Well I have the original 3 on the compilation released for the GBA years back and have played through all of them again. What I really want is an all new game developed for one of the new handhelds, especially the PSP. I would settle for a release of Phantasy Star 4 as I am too lazy to jack with the emulators for the PSP.

I never thought I'd say this, but that trailer actually made me less interested in the game. Looks somewhat stagnant. Unenthused, maybe. I mean, it is Phantasty Star, so they'd have to do everything in their power to keep me away from it, but I just wasn't all that impressed. Reminded me, somewhat, of PSO with better graphics and a new combat system. Here's to being wrong.
