The team behind Total Rebalance Modification (http://forum.altargames.com//index.php?showforum=30) for UFO: Afterlight just released version 2.00! As usual the list of changes and additions is too massive to be posted here, but with almost 70 new items and hundreds of changes you'll not be bored playing through Afterlight a second time!

I had no clue what this was about at first, but then I started looking up information for UFO: Afterlight. Have to say that the game this mod is for looks interesting and convince me to download the demo. :)

Hope you enjoy it then! There's a lot to get into in the demo, but once you do chances are good you'll enjoy yourself quite a bit! Let me know what you think.

Has Afterlight been released in the US yet? Probably just one of those games that each store only gets 1 or 2 copies of, I suppose, since I couldn't find a copy of it on Friday at the 3 stores I hit after work.

Afterlight will be released on May 15th in the US (story (http://www.strategycore.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=6293)). It is available from GoGamer.com (http://www.gogamer.com/PC-Games_stcVVcatId444758VVviewcat.htm) (you'll note it's still the 3rd best selling PC game there) and CD-WOW.com (http://www13.cd-wow.com/detail_results_3.php?product_code=1870934&subcat=pc) as import if you don't feel like waiting. There is virtually no difference between the US and UK version as far as I know.

I played aftermath and aftershock, this looks like a maybe but I am gonna see how the game UFO Extraterrestrials is in a few weeks. It really looks like a xcom defense clone and it even has destructable environs. I used to love making that new door with the rocket launcher in the original game.

If Afterlight was sitting on the shelf tempting me though, I would buy it. To bad it wont see the light of day in the stores around here it appears. I am very impulse driven when it comes to game buying sometimes.....
