Ah, the weekend is here and a lot of it will be spent cleaning up after our wild weather we had last night. For the rest of the country, you will be getting it in the next few days. But, when not cleaning up I will be swamped with other work. If I get a chance, I hope to play some Mideval 2 Total War. What will you be playing?

~Sighs~ Probably more FFXI. I played the hell out of Stronghold Legends. Was decent, but not holding my time up much.

That and probably some more Thief. Inbetween working on paperwork and reports.

Guitar Hero, some Shivering Isles and LOTRO.

Well, I've been messing around with FFIII for the DS, and having a ball. I've also been playing Crackdown again on the 360, which is a ton of fun to just screw around in late at night. I particurally love playing with songs from the Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. (as well as the sequel and Solid State Society) soundtracks. I just wish the game was on the PC, because it is begging to have a Tachikoma modded into it.

I have very little school work to do over the weekend (a grand total of maybe thirty minutes), so I should be getting a lot of gaming in. Not that this is unusual. I've been debating buying Spider-man 3 when it comes out next month, I'm a sucker for a good Spider-man game. I probably wouldn't bother if Spider-man 2 was backwards compatible with the 360, but it isn't (even though Ultimate Spider-man is).

I have also been enjoying Desktop Tower Defense (http://www.handdrawngames.com/DesktopTD/) (found in a topic in the forums), and have gotten all the way through easy mode. I'll try medium this weekend!

Oblivion (PS3), maybe some SOCOM FTB (PSP), and I'm strongly considering picking up Chocobo Tales (DS). Oh, and of course FFXI is always a strong possibility, gotta start getting BST AF together.

C&C3 and Gears. Plus I'll be playing "Studying for Finals" in which you read all the literature you've read over the last year in preparation for a 3 hour final exam.

Puzzle Quest.

I swear to God that game contains some sort of time vortex, because every time I pick it up, I lose about 6 hours of my day.

EVE Online, Halo 2, Soulcalibur II, maybe DOA.

Same here.

Other than that, well I own a Wii so I'll leave it to your imagination what game I rented out of thousands recently released. (hint: it is published by Nintendo)

(plus exams)

Yeah, I know I'm YEARS late, but I finally picked up a Gamecube of my own. Probably play some RE 4 (which I already have to death on my pal's GC) and catch up on some Zelda action I've been missing since the N64.

God, Link, I've missed you. After the N64 I "left" Nintendo. Went PS1 -> DC -> Xbox -> 360, and finally nabbed a used Gamecube a couple days ago.

Now I just need a few games for it. But the EB's in my area still sell USED GC stuff for 30 bucks or more a pop.

Anyway, sorry for the long-winded post for such a simple question, but mostly this weekend I'll be getting some long-lost Nintendo console goodness, and maybe play some good ol' Oblivion on my 360 (no SI yet, only picked up Oblivion about a week ago).

Midevil? :)

I'll be mostly playing Champions League on Xbox 360, F1 on PS3 and Silent Hunter IV on PC.

Castlevania SOTN, almost have the first 100% of the game.

Shivering Isles, but I'm still paranoid about losing items because of the bugs. I swear Bethesda is just fucking with my mind and is trying to make me crazy as welll.

Lost planet. Actually trying to complete the damn thing. Stuck at level 7 for the last time I played it.

And maybe finish Okami.

I would drop all of those just to play GoW2 though. Damn European delays.

Going to Maine so I'll be playing Puzzle Quest. The game pisses me off so much, but it only makes me try harder and come back for more. I feel like I'm it's bitch...sob sob.

Probably spend too much time with STALAKER. Picked up a fun little Indie game last week - Oasis. Fun little turn-based start game with puzzle undertones. Good for a quick 5 minute game.

I'll spend some time trying to convince my son that being a self-centered bum that expects everything done for him is not a blueprint for a successful and fulfilling life.

My wife's uncle died last week so I'll be playing the bagpipes at his memorial service tomorrow.

Full weekend!

More STALKER. I can't stop playing it... And maybe a little Godfather Blackhand for the Wii.

Another weekend already? Sheesh. First, I'll be playing "Drive to DC for a party". If I have a chance I will finish Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and maybe progress in Hotel Dusk a little more.

Hey Draconis, which Thief are you playing?

I'm starting two weeks off this weekend in order to be around to help when Spiglet #2 comes. Depending on how soon the baby arrives (I lost the tracking number so I have no idea where it is on the delivery route) will determine what I end up playing over the next few days.

Assuming that the baby doesn't come until early next week or so, I'm planning on playing some C&C 3 (working on what I think is the final GDI campaign) and kicking Agentgray's butt in multiplayer (I'm Spigot on the C&C boards, so feel free to kick my arse online if you feel so inclined).

I MIGHT fire up Shivering Isles/Oblivion this weekend, but I'm not sure I'll get around to it just yet.

Otherwise, I'm trying to finish up Twilight Princess on the Wii (just got to the Twilight Castle after getting the mirror reassembled) and also will be playing more Super Paper Mario.

On the portable front, I'll be alternating between Puzzle Crack and Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales, which is the first thing that has been able to break through the iron grip of Puzzle Quest in the last few weeks. It's surprisingly well done. I might also fire up Final Fantasy VI Advance at work tonight, but we'll see.

Of course, if my wife goes into labour, all bets are off. I know they have an N64 at the hospital and I'll probably have my DS with me wherever I go, so I should find something to keep me occupied between the screaming, the gushing bodily fluids and the squalling newborn.

More STALKER. I can't stop playing it...
I have the same problem with STALKER that I had with Deus Ex. I'll save my game with the intention of quitting for the night, but then just run ahead to see what's around the corner. Two hours later I have to force myself to stop playing. Despite the rough edges, it's one of the best games I've ever played.

All the best for Mrs. Spigot and the upcoming Spiglet! Make sure the DS is the first thing he/she sees. Gotta get them early!;)

My broken hand didn't heal properly in the first cast, so I go in for surgery Monday. I don't know what I'll play this weekend, but it'll be the last bit of console or PC gaming for the next few months. Any Wii/DS titles requiring only one hand will get a lot of love.

Maybe I'll play Guitar Hero 360 or my second playthrough of STALKER while I still have 9 functioning fingers.

Puzzle Quest and Super Paper Mario for me.
I'd love to get further into SPM but I can NOT stop playing Puzzle Quest. It's definitely one of my favorite DS games of all time. I got it last Friday night and am at level 42 as of last night. Good times, good times (it haunts my dreams :( )

(as well as the sequel and Solid State Society) soundtracks. Ah someone else that does that, and here I thought that I maybe the only one who did :D .

I'll probably be playing some Halo 2, Guitar Hero 2 (PS2), maybe some Earth Defense Force, and most likely some Crackdown since I haven't played in a while.

I'll be doing a little Puzzle Quest, but I bought Pheonix Wright for my Fiancee so I can get on the PC. I'm going to start on WOW.
I've resisted this long, but I just can't do it anymore. I don't have any fight left in me.

Maybe a little more on FFXII, if I fancy a change. But I don't think I will.

Got a Wii (for the Kids of course ;) ) and they were freaking hooked on Twilight Princess. Now we're enjoying GC games Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Wind Waker.

It really is magical to see their expressions when you get something like the iron boots or some magical ability in a Zelda game. Priceless.

Tonight and Sunday we honor the gods of hockey with mass beer consumption while watching the playoffs. Saturday gives me an open day to be an old-school geek and play P&P RPGs, yes, you heard right, Dungeons & Dragons...on paper.

Other than that, GH2, DDR, Boom Boom Rocket, and any other music games I can dig up. I may get some Oblivion and Gears in there too. Lazy Sunday Gears has become a trend lately.

Looks like it's the first Halo for me on the 360. Never played it and picked it up with a gift card from the phone company (what!?) this week.

...Shivering Isles/Oblivion...Hmm, yes, that was excellent, but totally last week.
...Super Paper Mario....Puzzle Crack...Oh, definitely. Good stuff.
...labour...And here we reach the point where I stopped reading. It's like reading a spoiler. I want to be surprised! Although, preferably eight or so months in advance.

I just bought a new video card to play STALKER. That makes it the second-most expensive game ever, at $400. The most being Chromehounds, at $450.

STALAKER. Makes me wish I knew more Russian. I bought another copy & sent it to my brother in Iraq. Along with a cd with the patch because his Intarweb access is craptacular. Everyone has seen the Kid of Speed (http://www.kiddofspeed.com/chapter1.html) site, right? Thats what made me get this game. Love it. I'm still futzing in between Bar and Yantar, and its fun.

Zelda (Wii). My boy likes watching me play, and he likes messing around on his own once I get to the interesting places.

Wing Island (Wii). Controls are pretty intuitive, the difficulty level is a bit much. My wife & kids can't play it because of the short timers, which is too bad because it could be a fun casual game. I'll give it another try this weekend.

Maybe some Okami, or Guitar hero 2. Probabaly some Killzone(the only one's that's good)

Lego Star Wars 2 - 360
First game in ages which has made me want to replay the game to unlock stuff.

Boom Boom Rocket demo, see if it doesn't make me want to fork out for the 8 other songs, just seems a bit small at the minute.

Killzone Liberation - psp, really starting to kick my ass now.

I got Rogue Galaxy from gamefly the other day, I've been playing that. Enjoying it so far.

Also trying to finish up Shivering Isles, its great and I haven't run into any item problems (and in my shack I have *tons* of items). I haven't sold much of my good stuff because I'm trying to milk money off the sales of low-end items and up my mercantile. Which is still incredibly low. I need to figure out how to fast level that..

What's with everyone calling that game STALAKER? Is there some in-joke I'm not aware of?

Ok. So I still haven't found those last two agility orbs in Crackdown. Yea I know I suck. I also have about 100 hidden orbs to go get. Of course I'll probably just ignore all that and rock out on Guitar Hero 2. I honestly don't know if I'll pop in any of the other 50 gillion games I have.
