PSP Vault (http://www.psp-vault.com/) has a video (http://www.psp-vault.com/Article168.psp) for download that can potentially un-stick dead or frozen pixels in a PSP's screen. It's been said to work about 60% of the time, with several forum members saying that they were successful in fixing their screens. The video works by rapidly flashing red, green and blue colors, thereby calling pixels to do rapid changes and thus "un-sticking" them.
I'm going to try this later on myself and see if it works. I only have one dead pixel but it really bugs me.

Wow, very interesting. I'm going to have to give this a whirl. I have one stuck/dead one as well.

Well i had 8 dead pixels, a bit annoying but meh, and well this video worked like a charm. I wonder if this can be used any time.

I wonder if this would work for my single dead pixel on my DS if I stuck the movie on the GBA movie player...

If you can get it to work on the DS, then yes, it should. Those pixels suffer from the same problem, and the same solution should work.

Didn't work for me. I downloaded this the other night and ran it for about 2 hours.

I don't know. I read on the guy's website that created it that it works about 60% of the time.

I think it's much more likely to fix the stuck pixels (The ones that have a certain shade of color all the time but are actually turned on) rather than the dead pixels (Missing pixels that don't turn on)...

Based on the terms I've seen used hereabouts, I'd say my PSP has one "dead" pixel and a few "stuck" ones. I've had it running for the past several hours without success. I guess I'll leave it on overnight and see if anything changes by morning. <fingers crossed>

If nothing was wrong in the first place why did you try to fix it?.

Because presumably he had other stuck pixels besides the 5-6 new ones?

I had two pixels that were always black, located in the upper right-hand corner of my screen. I ran this video and they are fixed! But now, after running it, there are eight pixels in a small cluster in the middle of the screen that are always red.
