Auto Assault combines vehicular combat with role-playing elements. Players explore a post-apocalyptic future in customizable cars, motorcycles, semis and even tanks. Players battle other players both in arenas and in epic race vs. race wars for control of the regions in a devastated Earth.

PvP is a definite component of Auto Assault, with a wasteland area with open PvP where powerful salvage can be found. Additionally, also instanced arenas will be available for players to battle, spectate battles, or wager on the outcome of battles with each other. This is a very cool feature that should be mandatory for any MMORPG that includes PvP. My hands-on experience with the game was with playing some 4v4 arena combat, and it was a blast. I can only imagine how much cooler it would be if I had complete control over how my vehicle was outfitted and what skills and abilities I had access to.Check the full Auto Assault preview (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=25743) over at WorthPlaying.

Can it have no monthly fee like Guild Wars please? If so, I'm in.

Man... Dodged a bullet here. I'll probably check this out, but if they ever make a full-on hardcore Mad Max universe MMMORPG, I'm totally fucked. My life in the real world would be completely supplanted by tweaking my car, hunting for gasoline, eating dog food for sustinance, and grouping up for raids on spiked out school bus convoys.

The game seems fun from the clips I have seen, lots of shit blowing up and combat that is quite diffrent from the standard.

As usual, the first screenshot contains a poorly modeled, almost naked woman, barely covered with a metal swim suit. What is this supposed to be armor? All these MMORPG companies do that shit in to get more 14 year old kids interested, but it just looks so stupid.

I had thoughts along the same lines. But meh, what can you do? :)

Why do people automaticly think T&A=made for 14 year olds?
