With the heat going full blast outside, it's a good week to hit up an airconditioned movie theater. It just so happens Batman Begins comes out this week and looks to be kick ass. And with every major summer comic book movie comes the video game tie-in, so look for the game to hit XBox, PS2 and Gamecube. Not too much else this week, though for you 2d fighting fans Capcom Fighting Evolution for XBox could be a gem.

I would say I'm psyched for Canvas Curse (and it does look awesome), but I seem to have lost my DS, which is killing me inside.

I think I will be picking up Canvas Curse this week. I always liked the Romance of the 3 Kingdoms series, I'll be curious to see how this new version is.

From what I read, Batman Begins might actually be worth a trip to the theater.

I'll be seing Batman Begins. Reviews are good so far. Big batman fan...just hope they get the sour taste out of my mouth from the last movie <cringe>. The constant unfunny one-liners were like daggers in my back.

What's the word on Goldeneye? Haven't seen any info on it.
Worthy of the name of a classic or just more dreg with a Bond title?

It wasn't just the unfunny one-liners, the entire movie was awful. Poison Ivy, Bane and Mr Freeze all pussified and then simultaneously bludgeoned into uncoolness in one single film. I hope Schumacher rots. Then again, the writers are as much to blame.

I would just like to tell everyone to not even rent Capcom Fighting Evo. As a 2d fighting fan since the age of seven, I can say the game is a horrible piece of trash, and I want to kick Capcom in the nuts for crapping it out and not making an actual new game.

Thank you.

Both IGN and GameSy have some previews on the game.

GameSpy Preview (http://gba.gamespy.com/nintendo-ds/goldeneye-rogue-agent/624496p1.html)

I believe it has 8 player wireless multiplayer with 1 cartridge as well as a co-op mode as well.

Boy, I'm so glad I bought the 25th anniversary edition of Jaws. Screw you, Spielberg.

Kotaku is also reporting that a new Yoshi game is coming out this week too, for the GBA using a built-in tilt sensor.

Kotaku (http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/new-releases/index.php#mondays-releases-107484)

I haven't read any reviews of the game, but the tilt-sensor thingie sounds like the one used in the recent Wario game, which is getting awesome reviews.

Planet GameCube (http://www.planetgamecube.com/reviews.cfm?action=profile&id=627) reviewed that game (Yoshi Topsy-Turvy), and didn't like it too much.

Ah well. Save me some money! :)

IGN didn't like Yoshi either, supposedly the tilt sensor controls aren't as robust as in Wario Ware.

They did like Canvas Curse though, 9.0. Looking forward to it.

so i bought this gaming system called the psp, and i heard all of these games were coming out for it but i haven't seen any...Maybe it is time to dig up those comments people had about the DS not having any games coming out and recycle them for the PSP.

Maybe it is time to dig up those comments people had about the DS not having any games coming out and recycle them for the PSP.
How about we just link to them, to save space? And sadly, due to EvAv database failure, we can't reuse PS2, Xbox and GC comments.
