At frontlineformation.com, we're running a dedicated server as well. Type "Frontline" in the server name filter and you'll find it.

If you've played Desert Combat, you've played Battlefield 2. I see little to no differences of real value.

I'm not trashing that style of game or anything, it's just that BF2 is rather ugly considering what it could be, and has some of the worst interface/config issues of all time.

That, and it is slow, drops players constantly, and a RAM hog for something that looks like the Half-Life 1 engine.

Try the demo if you are considering buying the game - a friend of mine can barely run BF2, yet runs HL2 at full specs on 1200x1024 without a hitch. Consider yourselves warned.
