Chaos League: Sudden Death takes up where the original Chaos League left off, bringing with it a host of improvements and enhancements which make take the real-time, role-playing strategy sports title into a whole new bloody battleground. Chaos League is a sport in which the rules are simple: there are none. The object of the game is to score as many goals as possible – through whatever means necessary: hand-to-hand – or feet to face – violence, magic or weapons.

Digital Jesters has released an English demo for Chaos League: Sudden Death, letting you try out a few of tutorials, match and championship modes with two of the available races (Human and The Damned), all set in the Glacier stadium.

You can grab the Chaos League: Sudden Death demo (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=26014) (344mb) over at WorthPlaying.

Sounds intriguing! Anyone ever play the original and willing to share their take?

I only played the demo of the original.
The interface was cluttered with useless functions. You had to watch over and control your entire team in real-time using only a mouse which was a chore since every character had a lot of crucial moves and abilities. The voice acting was fun and the art was good: the game fails in game-deisgn.
However it also had the most memorable main menu: while in the main screen, you could squish bugs which crawl arround--by clicking on them.

If you were into the old Games Workshop game Blood Bowl you'll probably be a big fan of Chaos League, despite it's flaws. But dont go near it, as you'll get a nasty case of Starforce, which is a pain in the ass.
