IGN has several writeups on the controller which can all be found in their most recent (http://gear.ign.com/articles/775/775120p1.html) story. It's now available for pre-order (http://www.buyreflex.com/Order.aspx) at a 'last-gen' price of $26.99.
The bodieLobus Reflex replaces the right analog stick with a trackball, which allows the closest approximation of mouse + keyboard FPS control we've yet experienced on a console. The key is the fact that the trackball is free of the variable acceleration applied to analog sticks, which makes the controller far more accurate than a traditional console pad.
Be sure to follow the link for photos of the controller, and girls posing with it. "Say, cheesecake!" Whomever styled their hair (http://media.gear.ign.com/articles/775/775120/img_4416356.html) should be fired, though. Seriously.

Well, at least their marketing department knows how to advertise to men.
Now it'd be nice if there was an actual review of said product.

It's a good thing this stupid controller is also a PC pad as well...
Otherwise, I might have to march out my "What's the Fucking Point!?" Squad.

Looks interesting to me.
After turning mouse mouse upside down, all I get is a red light in my eye. :(

From the article, it sounds like it has two modes, one where the trackball works with PS2 games that support a mouse (like Unreal Tournament, Dirge of Cerberus, and the Resident Evil Dead Aim series) and another where it uses the trackball to emulate the right stick.
I'd imagine emulating the thumb stick might be difficult as I've read that the famous PS2 dead zone is partially implemented in software, so the camera doesn't bounce around when you hit the face buttons.

Don't you know, that's what all XTREME gamers look like with wild hair and cut up jeans instead of the doughy white guys walking around in slippers and ironic t-shirts that the media would have you believe we are.
As an aside, I used to use a trackball type mouse with my computer and I actually enjoyed it for gaming as well. Not sure how it would be on a controller though considering a controller isn't really stationary therefore making precise aiming a little more difficult.

Doesn't matter on console, the limits are in the game just as much as in the analog stick. If the trackball tells it to move the crosshair/view faster than the game allows it'll just throw out the extra input.
Still might be good for increased accuracy, though.
Wonder how long they had to search for a woman who could use a controller with her feet while lying on her stomach in her underwear?

Trackballs suck, period. FFS just release a patch for native keyboard / mouse support on PS3 / 360 already!

its the future of console controllers. they need one for the 360 imo
trackballs, while harder to learn offer a superior control method than an analogue stick in any game that requires pinpoint accuracy such as shooters. if they made it modular so that you could pop it out and throw in a analog port in for driving sims that would be the ideal controller for me.

If it was modular than it probably wouldn't work as well as it does,
Do one thing. Do it well.

So... it's a PS2 controller with a trackball slapped on it? Wow. Inovative.

That controller is ugly. The trackball looks like some kind of growth. Might be time to visit the doctor.

The terrible marketing photos aside (too much ass, not enough boob), that looks like shit. It reminds me of something a guy would make in his basement by taking apart a controller and a track-ball mouse. Somebody thought this would be a good idea?

Did anyone ever buy that RPG controller for PS1?

I use a Logitech optical trackball on my home computer. I much prefer it to a mouse.
