IGN seems to have gotten an early look at the game and has posted their review here (http://wii.ign.com/articles/773/773509p1.html).

The Godfather is a great first step on Wii, as it uses more than 25 gestures, IR aiming, and has a ton of features above the original game in the form of new items, missions, gameplay modes (favors and blackmailing specifically), and RPG elements. More important than any list of numbers and features though, is the fact that The Godfather is just fun to play. It’s fun to beat the tar out of store owners with the Wii remote. It’s fun to throw guys through windows and off ledges with actual shoving motions. Hell it’s even kind of fun to honk a car’s horn by pushing forward on the nunchuk. The game has its flaws, it isn’t perfect, but it has more options, features, and depth that the previous versions, and it’s simply a fun game to play.

Looking forward to this title anyone?

Sounds like I should pick this version up, as I missed out the first time around.

Also dude, you forgot to turn off your sig. ;)

The game actually sounds semi-interesting. I was never such a huge fan of the movie though that I had to go out and buy the game when it came out. Hell, I don't even own the movie because it comes on TV so often. But, any creative/well-conceived use of the Wii-mote is nice to see.

I'm no graphics whore, but those graphics are definitely not a 7.5. I don't care what system you're basing your ratings scale on. It looks ugly as hell.

Besides that, looks like the gameplay additions with the remote could be interesting.

It sounds really fun, but the review was written like shit.

It looks ugly but sounds like it can be VERY fun, I played it on PC and I really don't know why people shat on it, the cars were OK and the combat was very fun, apparently its even more so here, my one big complaint was the aiming with guns but that has been fixed perfectly it sounds, so I'll wait and see what Gamespot says they're usually a little rougher but seems like a purchase. Its a good GTA clone with a story you want to be told.

I have been wondering if I should get this version or the 360 version.

Sounds like it'd be worth a rent at least. I'd been meaning to check out the 360 version, but this would probably be more interesting.
