Atari/Monte Christo's RPG, Silverfall (http://www.silverfall-game.com/en/news.php) due out next week has been a bit of an unknown. After a bit of playtime on a preview build, Snapper had some questions for the developers:Gamersinfo.net: The game will reportedly ship with an editor the fan community can use to expand the game. How extensive is that? Can they create whole new worlds? Can they completely change game mechanics? Provide new models, textures, etc?

Jehanne Rousseau: The editor is really powerful, and it’s with this editor that we have created the whole game. Of course some scripts can’t be edited by the players, but they can create their own maps, link them together in order to create a persistent world, add monsters of their own creation with the exporter (which allows you to export 3DSMax models of monsters, buildings and objects), add new items, create their own quests and dialogues, etc. and play online with friends.More Q&A can be found here, at GamersInfo.net. Sorry for the canned news post, I'm still in a post-GDC fog!

Goblins.

I'm sold, as long as I hear that it isn't completely unplayable or something.

Listen to me carefully people, and folks at GDC can back me up on this. The Next RPG you will be loving will be Two Worlds.

This looks interesting, might give it a try. I like the different levels of co-op style play.

this game looks like a lackluster attempt at following the nwn formula :\

I actually loved the demo. I am getting this for sure. I don't know why but the cel shaded look and the way it played was a good fun game to me. We will see but it won't be the first 45 bucks I spent for a bad reason...(motorstorm...cough cough) so hopefully its fun.

Too many games, too little time. I'm always interested in a good hack n' slash game. There are too few of them now a days that are good. Hopefully, the demo will run in Vista or I might be SOL.

Last I heard, there's a bug in the demo that keeps it from working in Vista. The full game, however, suppossedly works fine. You may want to check and see if there's a Vista compatible demo out there now.

I tried downloading the demo on steam but for some reason it wouldn't open for me. I redownloaded it and it still wouldn't work.

I'm not using Vista or anything out of the ordinary, but if the steam demo won't work, i consider it to be kind of a bad sign.

This game blows. Unless you like corpse runs a la EQ and Vanguard. Also the movement/camera control is very wonky.

It's strange. I also heard it doesn't run well. I run it on a 7600 and it runs great. With an AMD single core 3800. But each to their own. I personally like it alot.
