Another week means another episode of our Comic Day! comics discussion thread (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26788). Civil War: The Confession -- This one-shot by superstars (and upcoming Halo team) Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev has been described as a "coda" to Civil War. No idea what that's supposed to mean, but the gut-wrenching, dialogue-heavy previews suggest that we're going to get a very emotional final meeting between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers that will supposedly include several "confessions" and "set the course of the Marvel Universe." Whatever. Alex Maleev's art is pretty, though.
52 #45 -- With only a couple months left in DC's huge and wildly successful weekly experiment, things have taken a turn for the brutal in the last couple issues. World War III is just five weeks away, and the build-up to it should be intense.
Question of the week: When you're interested in picking up a new comic, what's the first thing you look for? Eye-catching cover? Snappy dialogue? Beautiful art? WHAT?!
