Nothing breathtaking but the original wasn't either in the department of graphics, to me it was the gameplay and ramping up the skills of the characters. But I do have to say Archangel looks rather dorky in these screenshots.

Breathtaking graphics? nope
Groundbreaking gameplay? nah
Hella fun? oh, yes.

Throw in some new characters and I'm sold on this.

I'll also note that as an X-Men fanyboy, on some level it bothers me that they're going with the character designs mostly from the Ultimate universe, but then using characters that haven't been introduced there yet. Archangel looks out of place because that's the outfit that was designed for him originally, and it does not match the style of the other characters at all.

What's up with the bald-headed Bishop? I prefer the flowing jerry curl mane Silvestri developed for the character originally.
