Namco announced today that it has signed a deal with JoWood to bring Perception's squad based FPS Stargate SG-1: The Alliance to North America.

An intense, team based first-person shooter, Stargate SG-1: The Alliance places the player in the midst of an interplanetary struggle that encompasses the entire "Stargate" universe. Across 16 missions on a number of familiar alien worlds, players will utilize assault, stealth and reconnaissance tactics and a devastating arsenal of alien weaponry and massive armored vehicles to overcome the threat of Anubis and bring peace to the universe. Featuring dialogue from the original cast of the television series, Stargate SG-1: The Alliance lets players assume the role of the original SG-1 team, including General O'Neill, Teal'C, Colonel Carter and Daniel. it doesn't look to bad.
but hopefully there are some good puzzles in the game so it isn't just another action game.

It certainly seemed nice enough at E3, and it's supposed to have co-op play. I definately have some good hopes for this one.
