Gamespot (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/06/06/news_6127044.html?part=rss&tag=gs_news&subj=6127044) is reporting that Ninja Gaiden Black will be "budget priced" at $29.99. Ninja Gaiden Black includes the original Ninja Gaiden for XBox as well as both Hurricane packs and bonus content.

How low can you go!

Ninja Gaiden is proabably the best game for Xbox, IMO. However, why couldn't they have offered the Hurricane packs for those who don't have Live?

I did not read the link, but if you already have the original, is the bonus content worth the $30. I also hear that this game will hand your bum too you often.

God I hated this game... but for $30 how can you go wrong?

God I hated this game...
I loved to hate it. I suck royally at brawlers, but they're fun and Ninja Gaiden more so than most. And awfully pretty, too.

I thought they put them on Exhbition discs/OXM discs.

This game ripped my ass a new one. Brutal hard I thought but I keep going back for more.

Daaaaang. Well, I'm sold. Thankfully I still haven't brought (or finished) NG, and I've never seen the packs as I don't have Live. That's a lot of bang for the buck.

As long as the packs fix the camera issues I would be interested. I rented it early, and found it hard but the camerea pissed me off so I stopped playing. Hopefully the issues I had are fixed so I can finish it.

$30US isn't bad, but why not $20US like say, Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution? I mean, it probably won't have enough new content for those of us who downloaded the Hurricane Packs to warrant a purchase.

You're not the only one. But for $30 it almost seems worth it.

The Hurricane Packs introduced a new camera system that let you control it with the right analog stick, but I loved the original camera system so I never had a use for the new one.

I personally thought Ninja Gaiden was the best game released last year, and this is a fantastic deal for anyone who may have missed out on the game the first time around.

$30 US= $40 CDN.

This game kicks so much ass. Unfortunitly team ninja makes too many DOA's and too little titles like this.

Gamespy:

The solution? Make a whole new release that incorporates not only the pre-existing Hurricane Packs but a load of additional content. Dubbed Ninja Gaiden Black, this final release will be the ultimate version of Itagaki's hardcore ninja action game.

There'll also be a ton of new missions in mission mode, ranging from large-scale battles to time challenges to boss fights.

Sounds like content to me. If you're not convinced, buy it used for $20.
Shouldn't be hard to find.

Itagaki you nut, include an easy mode and difficulty options for the hurricane packs! Appealing to the hard-core is great but make it so regular people can play it too.
