If you dig into the Infinity Ward jobs page (http://www.infinityward.com/jobs/SeniorProgrammer_PC.htm), it contained a clue to an upcoming property in the job listing, "Senior Next-Gen Programmer (New IP and COD3)".

The listing has since been edited to remove the reference to Call of Duty 3, but I think the cat is out of the bag now.

getting excited about the sequel to an unreleased game is laaaaame.

i'm still waiting for daikatana 2... you know, the one that human head is making with the unreal engine!

Evil Avatar, you should look into finding out if that will be running on the Unreal 3 engine.

Oh wait, actually it probably will be since COD2 isn't even out yet.

Its not that big of news, but its still funny that someone would post that job listing without realizing what they were mentioning, haha.

You're all wrong. COD3 only means one thing: Crack On Demand 3. I loved the first two.
