Gearbox Software has released the v1.07 patch file for the PC version of Halo, fixing a bug where users could cause a dedicated server to freeze up.
Mirrors: 3D Gamers (http://www.3dgamers.com/games/halo/downloads/).

Hell yes it sucked.
Not even worth installing if somebody gave you the CD for free.

It's been on the top PC seller list for a while.

Uh, actually I enjoyed it a great deal. And I got the game free >;E. Of course it wasn't the mind-blowing event it was to x box owners who got it a year(?) before.
But I just played the campaign :p

Oh it didn't suck, unless you thought the original Halo on Xbox sucked, then it probably wouldn't have changed your mind. People had performance issues at first, but any normal rig nowadays will run it great. It's nice to see Halo in such high resolutions and with the keyboard and mouse in tow. However, I think Gearbox made a mistake (even though they meant well) by releasing Halo CE which took the few Halo PC players there were and split them into 2 even smaller camps, as many people have stuck with the original.
Also, the official release says this is a Microsoft patch (not Gearbox) which is odd because I was under the impression MS ceased all future support for this game (which was the whole reasoning behind releasing Halo CE in the first place).

yeah, I understand the dislike of halo pc, but cmon, relax guys. It wasn't THAT bad. I help run a cyber cafe and you'd be suprised at how popular that game still is.

Nobody plays Halo at the cafe near us.
I'm surprised so many people play WoW at the cafe though... Game Fee + Monthly Fee + Hourly Fee.
Wtf? People are NUTS.
