Well, what is it? What games do you plan on playing, conquering, or being totally frustrated by this weekend?

Nice and early this week! Rogue Galaxy, FFXI, and Metal Gear Ac!d will be taking up my time.

I got a new processor coming today, so I'm thinking of picking up some beefy PC game to throw at the bastard. Anyone got any suggestions? Also borrowing Battlestations: Midway from a buddy so I'll be checking that out.

Been playing lots of DBZ on the Wii, and actually rewatching the original Dragonball (corny English dub edition). I may go pick up Lunar Knights today, if I can find a copy (and if I feel like it). The game sounds great, though I'm a little upset that since I don't own either of the first two Boktai games I am put at a disadvantage (they give you an energy regeneration boost when in the GBA slot). I also hate that a Megaman side-quest was removed from the game because Capcom of America didn't agree to it (Capcom of Japan did). But it still sounds like an awesome game, so I'm going to pick it up at some point this month, money is just a bit tight at the moment.

Processors aren't the bottleneck in PC gaming nowadays, you may not notice any significant difference.

I received my replacement Xbox 360 so I'll get to finally give Gears of War a good working over, plus I will be giving the Crackdown demo some attention too.

I'm sure I'll do a couple hours of BF 2:MC also, it is always good for some multiplayer action.

I hope to play a bit more of Thief: Deadly Shadows, which seems to be a lot better than people give it credit for. And to change things up, I may play a bit more of Planescape:Torment.

I know, I know, I gotta get with the times. I'm a sucker for cheap games with a colon in the title. And I play slowly.

It is in my case. I'm running a AMD 3200 with a GeForce 8800GTX. Comparing my benches to some of the others on the net now, i'm down about 20% where I could be.

I'll be upgrading to an FX-60 and OCing it to hopefully...3ghz.

Been playing a lot of Freelancer lately. Will probably hit up Guild Wars for a while. Will probably be setting up a wireless router, too. Decided to go for the Buffalo unit that many here suggested.

Might pull the Beemer out of the garage and work on it to get it ready for spring. :D

My wife is up in Alaska on business for the weekend so I get to help my daughter get prepped for Tolo! The joys of parenthood! :D Also need to get her to the State HS Bowling AllStars tournament!

Proud Dad!

NOX! from Westwood.

I have already beaten the Wizard path, now I am moving on with the Conjurer's one. It's way easier, I have already almost 30K in gold saved up for Triple Fireball Staff of Recharge. Currently I am clearing Temple of Ix. Can't wait to play as Warrior as it should be the easiest path!

Betrayal in Antara!

I have just started it on a Virtual PC (Windows 98) on my XP machine. I am in Panizo right now closing First Chapter. I don't get the reviews - it's a great game, much, much better than Return to Krondor.

Baten Kaitos 2

Way to boring to motivate me to move any further. I am 19 hours as for today.

I installed Vista on my machine and have finally got the pc just the way I wanted. So I will be trying the Supreme Commander demo later today.

On the console side: I bought Zelda2 and Mario World on the Vc today. On the 360 I am playing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, I am loving the comic book feel of the game.

If you go on a cruise with your wife and conspicuously spend time with your DS, aren't you going to get your ass in a sling?

Many years ago I was on vacation with my fiancee's(at the time) family. I had to fake a sunburn just so I could get a day by myself to goof around on a jetski. Jetski >>>>> Day 2 at the Magic Kingdom.

Oh wow, that is the epitome of the perfect weekend, my friend. If you're playing Thief 3 on the PC, make sure you install the high-res pack (http://www.john-p.com/textures/Thief-DS/index.shtml). The game becomes what it should have been to start with. Just wait till you get to Shalebridge Cradle... *shudder*

Im playing Zelda on the Wii, However, with all the Talk of FFVI coming out on the GBA in the USA, I might fire up FFVI on the PS1 images/smilies/smile.gif EW EW EW! FFVI on the PS1? Come on. Either dig up the SNES copy or get the GBA version (it's out already). The PS1 versions were nasty... worst emulation ever...

Betrayal in Antara!

I have just started it on a Virtual PC (Windows 98) on my XP machine. I am in Panizo right now closing First Chapter. I don't get the reviews - it's a great game, much, much better than Return to Krondor Oh, that is just wrong. Wait a minute... I thought you were saying it was better than Betrayal At Krondor. Never mind. BaK was one of the best PC RPG's ever (at least in my opinion) but Return To Krondor, while good, wasn't anywhere near as good as the original. Betrayal In Antara is good but I much preferred Betrayal At Krondor.

think I might put in Syberia for the xbox tomorrow and try it out. I'm in the mood for some adventure gaming. Haha, well I have been meaning to try out Otogi as well so maybe I'll put that in after 30 minutes instead. Syberia is great on the PC. I never tried the Xbox version. If you only play the first one, you'll be disappointed as it's really only the first half of the game/story. You must play the second one right afterwards.

Otogi is great but Otogi 2 is where it's at. (And yes, Otogi 2 DID come out over here... I'm looking at my copy right now.) Otogi 2 gives you, what, 4-5 different warriors to play as and is just super fun (and a little less difficult than Otogi 1).

Ok... enough of what everyone else is playing.

I just finished Phoenix Wright: And Justice For All last night (man, that last case had some obscure/maddening bits to it!) and it was awesome. If you liked the first one, definately pick up PW:AJFA.

The best part about finishing Phoenix Wright 2 is that I can now start to play Hotel Dusk. I've just started Chapter 2 and can't wait to play this thing.

Since I'm working this weekend, that means lots of DS time so it'll be mainly Hotel Dusk and Castlevania: PoR when my eyes can't handle the reading.

When I'm home, I'll spend my time on the consoles playing Zelda on the Wii and Rogue Galaxy on the PS2. If I can't use the TV, then I'll be working on my gnome mage in WoW:TBC... just hit 62 yesterday... something is wrong when I hit 3 levels in less than a month.

I'm also playing the final stages of the "Box Up The Books In Your Old Office" game so I can get everything cleared out of there and into the basement. I'm off work next week but it's going to be a working holiday as I have to paint the old office and put in laminate flooring for my son's new room.

Yippee.

Finally getting around to playing Dead Rising. Despite enjoying the demo, the dependence on time management for the actual game kind of has me feeling a bit cheated, as if I'm really missing out on all there is to see and do within the game.

Don't give up...it's really intense the first time through...I went through 1 day several times before I was willing to bite the bullet and go all the way through...it was intense, but exciting...then my second time through I was able to really capture more of the game. It's actually a pretty ingenious system...by the time you are maxxed out you will be able to pretty much see the whole game, and the great thing to me is that it's not a huge commitment to play the game through to see more, like so many other 20-50 hour games.

Yeah, I just finished GoW to clear some gaming space for Lost Planet, and the stilted mission based game play really was a let down. I love the multiplayer, especially rifle matches...and the single player is good, just not as cohesive as it could be.

I am surprised at how much I am enjoying Pirates on the PSP! There are a bunch of cool mini games to dig into and the open-ended gameplay keeps it interesting. I snagged G3 last weekend and I am totally hooked. I think it's more fun as than the first two Gothic games, if you dug them that is. The choices of where you can take the storyline, at least so far, are more diverse than the previous games.

Holy Giant Wombats... Pirates CSG online is owning me like Tigole owns Draft, this is probably one of the most underrated online Collectable games out there and is a hell of a lot of fun to play. If you’re bored this weekend give this a spin. http://piratesonline.station.sony.com/

Probably won't play anything. It's time for me to catch up on some 24, Heroes, and Battlestar Galactica that I missed in the past two weeks.

Sa but true.. I got no fucking game to play.. since I bought the Wii all my attention went there but after I finished Zelda and got bored of Wii Sports I can't think of any game to play on my PC anymore...Pick up Trauma Center on the Wii. It'll keep you busy for quite some time.

Or get WoW. You'll never beat WoW... It will beat you!

Maybe I could get you over to my house and you could work on some of the stacks of games I have lying around. I wish I had the affliction of no games to play.
