pc.ign.com has posted an interview (http://pc.ign.com/articles/620/620259p1.html) with Human Head's Project Lead Chris Rhinehart and Art Director Rowan Atalla, talking about Prey's "basis, back story, and lead character".

IGN: The PC and Xbox have seen a lot of first-person shooters. What will make this one stand out? And why? What unique hooks are you conjuring up?

Chris: Prey will stand out because it's not just another FPS. We've spent a considerable amount of time coming up with new gameplay to enhance the experience. It isn't just a run-and-gun game. There are lots of great puzzles and challenges to overcome.

I can only hope that these challenges include jumping around moving platforms, and timed runs through giant metal presses that slam together, or valves that shoot blasts of fire every 5 seconds.

Its different than normal fps games because it has... puzzles?

Nope, not getting this one.

This game was one of the most impressive to me at E3. The gameplay could go a lot of ways, but the atmosphere looks awesome... and god damn if the possessed 8 year old blond girls wasn't the shocker of the show.

I'd like to note that the lead character has a new name. Back in the days when this was a 3D Realms project, it was "Talon Brave." Now it's "Tommy Hawk." Human Head needs to put down the peace pipe for a bit.
