Another weekend, another 100 degree day. Summer is here and with such high temperatures, it means we have to save ourselves from the heat by playing computer games. After mowing the lawn this morning, I will be playing some WoW. What will you be doing and playing this weekend?

I was playing Metroid Prime 2, until the fucker froze on me and I lost an hour and a half (hooray for no save points).

More Guild Wars and the all too familiar game of Fixing Relatives PC's. I should of kept the whole "I know a crap-load of stuff about computers" to myself.

Maybe finishing up Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil and Half-Life 2 for the 3rd time.

Forza, more Forza, then a little more Forza. Definately one of those, 'Just one more race' Racers...

It's supposedly going to be raining from now till Thursday here in the GAA (Greater Acton Area) so I'm going to hunker down in front of my PC for a bit.
Let's see. Definately going to get to work on Guild Wars. Need to see what this whole 'Ascention' thing is about. Otherwise, going to finish up Thief 3 and maybe start Undying for the 3rd time.
Console-wise, I just finished Tales of Symphonia and have finally started playing The Suffering. Fun game, especially once I figured out that you can go first-person to actually have a chance of hitting the nasties as they jump around.

Still trying to finish Doom 3 so I can get started on the expansion.
Fun, but kind of tedious for me. Pretty good regardless.

School is FINALLY out for me. I'm working on LoZ: The Minish Cap, FF:TA, both of which I'm taking with me to disney. On the PC, now that I have time, I've got KOTOR 2 (just got access to the 4 planets). PS2 I got GT4 throughout the summer/ till Vision GT comes.
When I get back, I'm picking up a cube to get my zelda on heh. I never owned a N64, and I need to play OoT and MM on the collector's disc and WW. Also, I'm gonna get Metroid Prime 1 and 2, SSBM probably, and MGS: TTS. It's gonna be a good summer.
And, clan games, Jedi Knight 3 (if you want a good server IP send me a PM) and possibly Desert Combat, though that division will transfer to BF2 in the summer, and my comp can't run it yet.
So its more of a Summer Gamer for me:)
5 honors classes+Student Council=not alot of free time during school year. And...during the summer, Stuco is like a job

MGS: The Twin Snakes:
Still has problems, but it's not as bad as I made it out to be originally.
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow:
Just picked it up for 17 bucks. Slick, slick game. Nothing else can touch SC in the stealth department.
I'm thinking of picking up an advance wars game. Probably the first one, since it'd be cheaper.
Also got roped into shampooing the carpet, but it needs it.

Trackmania Sunrise has me hooked. After playing the demo off and on last week I picked it up yesterday and haven’t been able to stop. Landing the jumps at 500mph is a great challenge that has yet to get old. Finally a stunt racer that delivers.

looks like it's nostalgia weekend for many of you here...including myself. Started playing a multitude of SNK and CPS-2 games.
Other than that, working on HL2, D3:RoE, and God of War.

Finishing up Castlevania SotN, then starting SCell: CT on super duper hard die in one hit mode.

Darwinia, which is a superb game but not worth £30 (I got it reduced) and no, repeat no, pathfinding, which is arty when it works and a complete pain when it doesn't. Also playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 demo (have they fix the bugs GameSpot's review mentions yet?) and reading HL2: Raising the Bar, which is quite excellent.

Having just finished Devil May Cry 3 (which in my view even rivals the glory of Ninja Gaiden) I'm now kicking my sorry ass into finishing some of my games I've had for about a year but never beat (i.e. the interminable KotoR and the last level of Splinter Cell: PT)
I want Minish Cap really badly but I can't justify another game purchase til I finish these ones.
Oh yeah. For nostalgia's sake I have Final Fantasy 6 and 7 queued up to replay over the summer...just to see if I still think FF6 is the better game.

I picked Deus Ex: Invisible War for $7.99 and 007: Everything or Nothing for $9.99 today at EB for XBOX. Now is the perfect time to go back and replay some recent classics for cheap!

Got a big 4 day weekend going, but I'll mostly be playing "final projects" and "girlfriend." One is an instant hit, I wouldn't recommend the other to anyone.
The good news is, I got 3 weeks left of school and then I'll be heading off to college next year (big cheer for early admissions programs, I'm skipping my senior year of high school :D )
But not a lot of gaming. If I was gonna play something, though, I'd make it Halo 2. IDK why, it seems like it would just tickle my fancy right now.

I know there's a patch that fixed a lot of stuff. I've never had too many problems with it. I did get a little burnt out on it, so I've shelved it until the expansion comes out that lets you build water parks. It looks really nice, too. Usually, their expansions patch a few things on the original games, too.

I'm on a gaming hiatus at the moment.
I've almost finished Starfox Assault, about 3/4 of the way through Baten Kaitos and halfway through a second run of RE4 but have just backed away from everything...

Revenge of the Sith (Xbox) - Last 2 missions (same mission, opposite character; rewrite history and hack up Obi-Wan!). Anyone else keep seeing "Bonus Mission So-and-So Unlocked" at the end of a mission and then still only having 2 unlocked Bonus Missions? WTF
MechAssault 2 - Too easy on Normal, but don't feel like starting over now.
Dawn of War - Playing with a friend vs 2 Insane AI. We keep getting creamed.
Resident Evil 4. Need to finally finish it.
Wishing I could play Burnout 4!!

I'm picking up from where I left in Disgaea (Stopped playing it originally) and also trying to gain more kudos in Project Gotham Racing 2. Best arcade racer on the Xbox... and of this generation, really.
I'm also thinking of going back to Tales of Symphonia, I kinda dropped that one when only 6 hours in or so, hehe.
...geez. So much stuff I have to get to.

I'm almost finished with Minish Cap, if you would be interested in arranging some sort of trade.

Actually the higher price is worth it for the sequel. Bigger, better, more characters, more maps, improved AI and all the characters have 2 levels of power up instead of one which really adds to the strategy. It only adds one new vehicle though.
You also get to play through the campaign mode and play as every country so you get to try out everyone instead of only having a choice of 3 for the whole game.
AS much as I liked the original AW, the second is a far better game.

I've just been checking out the game flatspace. Small online download, check it out at www.lostinflatspace.com
Wow that games is awesome. It's like a cross between pirates and star control 2.
They even have a button for "red alert"

I just picked up and started playing Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders for the Xbox. Man, I'm addicted. The game has a few problems, the camera on some occasions, horrible voice acting (I had to turn it to Korean w/ English Subtitles), but I'm well over 20+ hours and I'm having a great time.

Hours and Hours of Forza were played. That will likely continue to eat most of my gaming time for the next week at the very least.

I have my first Disc read error plagued PS2 here at my parents and I decided to fix it while I am visiting so my brother and I have something to play. Used the gamefaqs page and it took about 45 minutes and now it is working like new. So my brother and I are playing a fair bit of PES4 and some MGS3 (which is brilliant but then I loved MGS2 so don't take my word for it).

KoF Crusaders was great, so was Deus Ex Invisible War (& I didn't even like the first one).
Just picked up God of War and hot damn is it impressive. Its like the developers just blatently stole everything great about Rygar, Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, and Prince of Persia and rolled it up into one awesome game with piss poor art design. I don't understand why they decided not to give you ANY control over the camera, though, and how the game critics let them get away with it. I remember the goddamn feeding frenzy over NG's camera, which wasn't perfect but at least you could move it...or look around in first person to see where shit is/goes. And the inventory menu looks like it was cooked up by a 4th grader. Kratos is angry, obsessed with blood and the color red, ok I get it.
All that said, its still the best 3d action game I've ever played. Probably the best game on the PS2. I hope a sequel is in the works for PS3, they'd be crazy not to make it.
