Publisher Strategy First and ZOO Digital announced today that Gun Metal, the vehicular action game by Yeti Studios, previously available solely on console, has shipped for PC across North America.

Gun Metal is a futuristic action title where players take control of the fully transformable prototype combat vehicle known as the Havoc Suit. Players will fight against hordes of enemies through 14 different missions, scorch the earth, crush rocks under foot, fell trees, tear chunks out of towering buildings, and raze entire settlements to the ground.
Head over to GH3d (http://www.gamershell.com/) to grab the demo (http://www.gamershell.com/download_866.shtml) as well as the patch (http://www.gamershell.com/news/5682.html).

This game reminds me of the planes in the anime series Macross (http://www.macross.co.jp/).

The game has been out in Europe for years already, the demo is 2-3 years old, as is the patch.

Its fun though, about time somebody released it in the US, but by now it looks dated.

actually i thought as this type of game it looks very good. Its pretty good actually for an action shooter game.

I played it some... It had some cool ideas... but I just wish they had sped it up so it was a full on crazy anime pace.

Isn't this an old game for consoles?!?

It looks like some shareware games.
